I have dreamed of visiting San Francisco ever since I first saw The Princess Diaries. Now that I have finally done that last week, it is everything I dreamed of! I see it as my miracle moment!
This song makes me so joyful and tear up with joy, when she sings "you show me dreams come to life..." the emotional change through the instrumentals and Myra's voice touches my heart and I cry. This song keeps me going forward. Whenever this comes on in The Princess Diaries I cry 😭💖
All right, Myra, you have my attention right now. My mother was diagnosed with skin cancer earlier this year, and then my stepmother was also diagnosed with cancer, but this was stage four colon cancer. This past week, my mother's skin cancer is officially in remission, and halfway through my stepmother's treatments for hers, her cancer tumor doesn't even appear on a CAT scan anymore. Miracles do happen, and apparently sometimes more than once!
I was such a small girl when this song came out, and even though I'm much older now I will never get over this song! Its my "secret" comfort song! love it!
I went through most of my child hood looking for this damn song...................and then it magically appears when I gave up on it..................Now it wants to be found!! I spent too much time finding it. From went the movie came out to when the third movie came out even beyond that! Now I can finally rest easy and not be haunted anymore...I feel good

At least you got to watch it with your grandma. My grandma was sick with cancer when the Princess Diaries came out. I was in 9th grade, 14 yrs old in the H.S. marching band. We went on a trip the day my grandmother died. We had a competition and on the charter bus ride home we all watched the Princess Diaries. I fell asleep on the movie and dreamed that my grandma had died. Once we made it back to my hometown, and my mom picked me up, I was told that my grandma had died. :-(
