Great footage Mike. Lovely to hear the birds and such a lovely location too.
The amount of videos you're putting out lately Admiral I won't need to come down in July for my holiday I will have seen it all. Thanks Admiral.
We hope the videos give you some ideas as to where to visit on your holiday!
The alarms are warbling/faulty
we are on the fish and chips train today, are you there mike.
ah afraid not Dave, as we have a lunch date with friends in Stogursey. Val and I hope you enjoy the train ride and the fish and chips.
Thanks for uploading another interesting video. In the first few seconds the video shown a track with some sort of corugated iron pieces at the side....what is this used for ?.
I think you must be looking at a field entrance beside the house with some tree shadows on the road.
@@ADMIRALSCORNER No it's to stop cattle (and sheep?) wandering onto the line. Very common in Australia.
As an aside, in my nation this level crossing with vegetation along the road right up to the railway line, and the crossing on an angle, would be regarded as having 'sighting deficiencies' and (in my state at least) a strict speed limit to as low as 25kmh on freight lines would be mandated. But your English history with narrow lanes/roads and hedgerows is different, though some of the vehicles seemed to be travelling quite fast (unless the video accentuates speed).
Aren't they the cattle grid structure ...
@@janinapalmer8368 thanks for your answer...very much appreciated
