I've stayed twice in Knaresborough, which I love, but Harrogate is excellent for transport. The bus station is right next to the train station, so you can get to almost anywhere from there. I'd hop on the local stopping bus from Knaresborough, and be at the station in Harrogate in a few minutes, and then on to places like Ripon or Pateley Bridge. Thanks for your walks. Wow! Just went there yesterday to treat my friend to a lovely meal at The Ivy there! 😮 btw wasn’t going to queue at Bettys thats for sure! Taken spa waters before. 🤢
