Upgraded from my busted up 13 pro to the 15 Plus and I love it. The battery life is insane. Gets me through 2 full days of heavy use. Love it so happy!
Same I just left my 13 pro for a 15 plus and its been great aside from 60hz,which even after a week is still jarring but the battery life is a worthy trade. The camera is a CLEAR upgrade and speakers are phenomenal too.
I had to upgrade to the 15 plus from the 13 pro max due to the battery health draining significantly and honestly, I’m so glad I did!!! Battery life, ESIM and loving the cameras! Just as good as other phone! I also love the colors of the 15s. I have basic matte black
I love the 15 gets the dynamic island and long battery life. I also love the matte finish, kinda stealthy look and of course the newly upgraded 48mp main camera. I think that this is going to be a worth to get in.
Same, the cameras finally convince me to upgrade from iPhone 8. I really didn’t like the notch in bridging models, but Dynamic Island feels like an additional feature, not a compromise.

I upgraded to the base model iPhone 15 from a base model iPhone 12. Feels like a huge upgrade. I was originally looking at the 15 Pro for the filming & photography feature set, as well as the ProMotion display. I have dedicated cameras for any filming and photography needs, and I don't really think the 120Hz refresh rate screen which has an impact on battery life is worth the price difference. Very happy with my iPhone 15.
@@benk932 i think, it depends. If you are scrolling occasionally then you are always using the 120 hz. But if you are always on stationary screen without scrolling and touch then you are not using the 120 hz.
i just switched from my iPhone 11 to a 15 Pro Max. It’s been only a day… and i’m LOVING IT. I’m glad i waited for it to come out. literally no complaints. and it’s so smooooth🥰 the battery is insane and the 120hz refresh rate is even more insane

The Pro truly is a waste of money for the vast majority of people. Apple are getting desperate to try and push people to that higher priced phone, but if you really look at what the Pro phone offers, it’s just not that compelling for the extra money. The 15 is a very good phone with better battery life to boot.

@ethano.00 I think my favorite thing about the iPhone 15 is that it has dynamic island and a full matte body, as well as a 48MP main lens. It's literally a nerfed 14 Pro! Since I'm huge on photography, I think the addition of the 2x zoom is great.
I have the iphone 15 (pink) and I love it. It definitely is worth the price. I wanted the plus before but the plain is just perfect. Having moved from android. I am still learning day by day, but I love it! I guess I joined the iphone experience at the right time.
The iPhone 14 may have liked the same however I believe it helped make the 15pro with the more removable back and small features such as automatically calling emergency services and satellite signal receivers.
My best feature Is that the phone is a pro battery saver and it does not overheat like the pro models ,the only downgrade is the 60hrtz refresh rate which is not that noticeable but overall it gives flagship specs @ Street geng

@c.ylese to be honest, I love almost EVERYTHING about it. from how it looks, the 48mp main camera on the base model and the plus, which we don't get to the previous iphone base models. The killer battery life of the plus, the dynamic island and the upgraded os. I pretty much love everything abt it, except for the 60hz refresh rate... I'm not that much of a gamer, but it kinda sucks. AND PLUS THE USB-C!!! so yeah, 10 out of 10!

Real solid review of the 15. Thanks for doing it. Everybody just focuses on the pro phones which I don’t need. I went to the Apple Store and looked at them but I think I’m gonna hold off for another year and keep my iPhone 13 mini as it’s running great on iOS 17 and there’s no need to upgrade for me. It’s just a shiny new phone and that’s kind of tempting, but if the phones aren’t side-by-side the camera on the 13 takes really good videos and pictures and it’s only when you put it next to a brand new phone do you seem like you need an upgrade .
I have a 12 mini, which is a bit worse than 13 mini so I have a better reason to upgrade to iPhone 15. Also I had my 12 mini for 3 years now and battery capacity is at a terrible 78% and I have a small black dot on my screen due to dropping it so even more justifiable to upgrade!
Yes agree, these really are significant upgrades this year for the base models. But that 60Hz display is killing me. It’s time for Apple to add the 120Hz to all of their lineup. Even the cheapest Android phones have had it for years.
If they did there would hardly be a reason for you to buy the pro models. That's what they want everyone to get so they give certain crap features to their lower end phones. You'd have to look at phones under $200 in the Android world to find a phone under 90hz. Only Apple can get away with this.
@katadoto Great video as usual. While the dynamic island and usb C are great, I really like the max screen brightness and ability to change background focus after the fact are the best features. For the 15 pro though I think the best feature is recording to an SSD while recording. Means you can get the base model, have the best recording available on a phone and not have to worry about space, awesome!
I'm upgrading from 8 plus to 15. I held my 8 plus until Apple released another phone with touch id, I was sick of waiting lol. Was hoping they finally integrate it into the side or something but decide to give face id a try and that juicy 48 mp main camera
@@pandaboo15 I love it!! it's so light compared to the 8 plus. It's worth the upgrade because you get a huge bump in specs and battery life. The camera quality in both front and back is amazing. And I love its color, I got the green one. It was between green and pink. So far Face ID is quite good and the dynamic island is not too distracting and sometimes I forget about it when I use my phone. Personally, I find the notch really ugly on previous models.
Bought the 15 plus did not buy a pro Max for the first time and I don't miss that phone one iota this 15 plus has the best battery life excellent sound excellent USBC, extremely light, and the dynamic island and the a16 chip amazing

@munchineh I gotta say hands down the best feature of the iPhone 15/Pros are the advanced Portrait Mode. Automatically detecting a subject/photo that's ideal for Portrait Mode (regardless of what mode you're in) is wicked cool.
The only reason I plan to get this one is because of the incredible battery life. 120hz while good to have doesn’t really make any difference at the end of the day.
Switching to USB-C and introducing the dynamic island to non-pro models are the best features for me. I also agree that for this price point, the minimum 90hz screen refresh rate should be available (why, Apple?). Very insightful video, Dion! @dudzaalunday
I went from an iphone 12 to an s23. Tested the iphone 15, and nope not going back. Staying with the s23 256gb with 120hz. It really is a deal breaker for me.
first off I want to start by saying I love your channel. With that being said I have a question and I'm hoping that maybe you could help me out. The iPhone 14 pro Max and Pros had the battery issues where they were degrading much faster then other models did. With that being said the new 15 and 15 plus have the same chip that was in the 14 Pro Models do you think that those models will have the same issues with the battery duration that the 14 Pro Models had or do you think maybe it was something going on with the phone and maybe Apple may have fixed it? I would love to know your thoughts on this.

This is a bit embarrassing to say, but I finally just upgraded my iPhone 6s Plus to this exact iPhone 15. It hasn't come in the mail yet, but i'm SO stocked to have a phone that's not slower than a turtle, and a battery that doesn't die within a half a day.. Lol
i like iphone 15 plus and 15 just because of its aesthetic design performance and its camera with 48mp lens. i just wanna feel its color. since im using my iphone 12 pro

I really want to win that 15 Pro because of the new A17 Pro chip with its powerful nature, the new camera system that would really help me with my photography coursework and I will finally be able to take Pro Raw photos, Pro Res videos, Ultrawide Photos and Macro Photos, the USB C with 3.0 speeds will help those photo files transfer much quicker and the new titanium build is much lighter and looks more premium to me and should resist fingerprints a little better. And that blue titanium colour is so exquisite and elegant. And honestly speaking, my iPhone 7 Plus needs to be retired soon. I really hope I win🤞. Once again great video as always Dion. the only thing i dislike about this phone is a week later of using it my screen had quite a few scratches on the screen which i didn’t really expect after only 1 week

I'm fond of its appearance, the fact that it has a 48MP main camera on both the regular and plus models, which was missing in previous iPhone base models. The battery life on the plus model is quite impressive, the dynamic island feature and the upgraded operating system are great. I pretty much like everything about it, except for the 60Hz refresh rate, which is a bit disappointing. Plus, it's fantastic that it finally has USB-C, something we've been waiting for a long time. So, in my view, it's definitely a keeper! Really Great, informative video, Dion!
Actually iPhone 14 is still good for the next 2-3 years. But my suggestion is better to take iPhone 15 to get the usb type C port. It will be easier for you to manage cables (one type of usb cable for all) if you have several other devices

@@RahulSharma-df4xz not as far as I know. That issue is only with the pro models. (It was fixed in ios 17.0.3 though)

Well not really, oneplus introduced it in 2019 as the first on the market with an oled screen and that was only 90hz

Blows away all android phones, incredible user experience, feels amazing in the hand, iPhone 15 is without doubt the best phone ever

I love it because it has long battery life, coming from an iphone 6. I am planning to upgrade to the 15 plus.

The almost blue colour of iPhone 15 reminds me of the autumn sky before Durga Puja.
The only reason I plan to get this one is because of the incredible battery life. 120hz while good to have doesn’t really make any difference at the end of the day.
My favorite think about iPhone 15 is that the dynamic island and the rounded edges :D
15 or 15 plus which is better
Switching to USB-C and introducing the dynamic island to non-pro models are the best features for me.
I also agree that for this price point, the minimum 90hz screen refresh rate should be available (why, Apple?).

I went from an iphone 12 to an s23. Tested the iphone 15, and nope not going back. Staying with the s23 256gb with 120hz. It really is a deal breaker for me.
Are you using the 80% charging limit? Does it really slow battery degradation - significantly ?
This is only with IOS17. Yes, I recommend using it, as it will extend battery life
I ❤ the alumni rounded frame, and will have the real feel when I can afford. The dynamic island along with the cane is also awesome
first off I want to start by saying I love your channel. With that being said I have a question and I'm hoping that maybe you could help me out. The iPhone 14 pro Max and Pros had the battery issues where they were degrading much faster then other models did. With that being said the new 15 and 15 plus have the same chip that was in the 14 Pro Models do you think that those models will have the same issues with the battery duration that the 14 Pro Models had or do you think maybe it was something going on with the phone and maybe Apple may have fixed it? I would love to know your thoughts on this.

Wow Dion. Awesome videos yet again. Even more informative than the first impressions video. I've learned a lot more now. Time to flex my knowledge on everyone 😎. I really want to win that 15 Pro because of the new A17 Pro chip with its powerful nature, the new camera system that would really help me with my photography coursework and I will finally be able to take Pro Raw photos, Pro Res videos, Ultrawide Photos and Macro Photos, the USB C with 3.0 speeds will help those photo files transfer much quicker and the new titanium build is much lighter and looks more premium to me and should resist fingerprints a little better. And that blue titanium colour is so exquisite and elegant. And honestly speaking, my iPhone 7 Plus needs to be retired soon. I really hope I win🤞. Once again great video as always Dion. the only thing i dislike about this phone is a week later of using it my screen had quite a few scratches on the screen which i didn’t really expect after only 1 week

Honestly, I really like this thing. I'm fond of its appearance, the fact that it has a 48MP main camera on both the regular and plus models, which was missing in previous iPhone base models. The battery life on the plus model is quite impressive, the dynamic island feature and the upgraded operating system are great. I pretty much like everything about it, except for the 60Hz refresh rate, which is a bit disappointing. Plus, it's fantastic that it finally has USB-C, something we've been waiting for a long time. So, in my view, it's definitely a keeper!

I'm moving from android to iPhone should I go for iPhone 14 or iPhone 15 which is value for money?
Actually iPhone 14 is still good for the next 2-3 years. But my suggestion is better to take iPhone 15 to get the usb type C port.
It will be easier for you to manage cables (one type of usb cable for all) if you have several other devices
I got an iPhone 14 Plus and Im happy. Won’t upgrade anytime soon 😅
