I've been a pediatric nurse for almost 15 years and I can definitely see more anxiety from the babies born during Covid. Obviously they've not had the same exposure to people and it makes complete sense. Just look at this sweet girl! Her little head band/bow is everything!

Yeah it’s cuz we were all wearing masks for no reason and these kids think wearing a mask all the time is ok when it isn’t. They don’t know peoples faces because of them and that’s one of the biggest things for a kid is to see and recognize faces.

The young girl asked an excellent question about only girls getting bladder infections. It goes to show us that children really listen to everything being said! It was funny when the Dr was explaining the answer to her and when he used the appropriate words, vagina and penis, the mom’s face turned BEET RED, lol. I found it funny only bc I have been there🤭 but, if a child is old enough to ask then they are old enough for the answer! Dr and mom did a great job!!

Those 2 older children, were BOTH very intelligent, and really asked the doctor some very good questions. Cystitia as re the daughter and what sounded like peritonitis for the brother are both very nasty and indeed dangerous conditions. The baby was simply a bit narky to due ti her temperature.
But I really liked the way the whole consultation developed. It was cheerful, interesting, and such nice.
    Children too.

That is the MOST perfectly awesome answer to a very intelligent question. I am going to show this to my granddaughter because it so clearly discusses issues about female anatomy. Her parents and I have worked together to educate her about these hard topics. I wish someone had taken the time to explain some of these things to me as a child. My family stuck to the “babies come from the cabbage patch” and are made “ only when a man and woman love each other.” Not a good preparation for having a healthy connection to my own body. What a wonderful little family. Thanks, Doc for all the teaching you do! 🤍🤍🤍

What an amazing doctor's visit !!!! It's too bad that the baby was so afraid. Even at that , she did VERY well considering how afraid she was.
The questions that her siblings asked were EXTREMELY interesting . I picked up on the fact that the doctor said that girls get UTIs (and basically boys don't get them - as the doctor led them to believe) - I wondered about that when he said that because I know that boys CAN get them as well !!!! The little boy's question was so sweet because he was apparently worried about his Mom's health since she had just had her appendix rupture and she had to have surgery on it and stay in the hospital for a while - which happened only 2 weeks ago - at the time of the taping of the video. I wonder if playing "Peekaboo" would have helped the baby ? WELL DONE EVERYONE !!!!!!!! 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂😉😉😉😉😉😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰 .
