Jonathan, I am not a car guy either, but I've heard that the tire is only a problem if you can put in your forearm (underarm) in the hole without touching the rubber.
my first summer playing was prob my favorite time for disc golf because seeing so much improvement every single time I played was very addicting. then I hit a ceiling, a very low ceiling😂
Jonathan - it looks like you're throwing with an air bounce. You're probably losing a bit of distance to that. Great throws though! And congratulations Frida on beating your personal bests! 🙌
New players - please do not focus on “pulling in a straight line”. It’s not how it actually works. Oh boy, and the forehand coaching is not good. Just watch scott stokely’s forehand coaching.
I am quite new. I played years ago. I only started playing again a little over a week ago. My average is a +9 on a par 3, 9 hole course. My personal best has been a +8 and a +6. My throw is around 90 meters if I get a really good throw. It has this nice c arc where it rolls back around.

For the forehand I also use just 1 finger. As soon as I put 2 fingers on it the release angle gets f’d up and it gets so wobbly
