DAEGU, SOUTH KOREA - During my Korean food road trip we stopped in Daegu to specifically eat a Korean dish called tsimgalbi - spicy Korean stewed ribs, and a specialty of Daegu.
Nakyoung Tsimgalbi (maps.app.goo.gl/P2CrganAfv91u...) - This restaurant is an institution in Daegu, serving only spicy tsimgalbi, or spicy ribs. They had a couple of variations, you could choose normal spicy or extra spicy, and you could choose American beef or Hanwoo Korean beef - of course we had to try it all.
The extra spicy with Korean Hanwoo beef was the winner, an amazing dish of chili and heaps of garlic stewed onto tender beef short ribs.
This is a Korean food worth making a road trip to Daegu to eat!
Thank you to KTO (Korea Tourism Organization) for sponsoring and making my trip to South Korea happen!

knew better than to watch Mark on an empty stomach...feeling sorry for my kitchen right about now
Hungry watching this 😭
a lot of garlic in the sources and they make good combination of spiciness , as Mark's saying it is really recommendable to put all sources and vegetable together making BIBIMBAP
nice, no adds
I really feel like the the local guides are sending Mark to some of the older places around Seoul and don't have the great quality of the newer ones.
So much more diverse than just BBQ!
so tender 😍😍😋😋, spicy and the sauce mix with rice
이거보니 갑자기 배가고프네 ...--::

Being a huge kdrama fan streets of korea looks so familiar 😂😂
I'm going to call this video
Necessary nourishment, I'm in....👍🌶️😋
Koreans generally do not eat beef with spicy seasoning. That's a strange food developed in Daegu. In fact, traditional Korean food is not spicy at all. Almost all spicy Korean food originated after the Korean War.
Im glad you mentioned the bowls. I was thinking they looked like dog bowls 😆
Hi mark, am ur fan.. im from Daegu City, I didn’t know you were here. I hope I could see u in person❤
Hi Mark, I was wondering if you were ever planning on selling those hats with a pepper on them that I've seen you wear in a few videos. I really like them lol
