the look in his eyes right after he says 'go to college' is so hopeful, it just adds a whole new dimension of sadness to this mindfuck of a commercial. skittles commercials seem to all be awesome.

Is Douglas inspired by Napoleon dynamite his appearance and voice who got the idea also who so the actor that played him anyone just in case and that’s creative tree out of stomach with skittles I imagine it should be real also what does the mother look like what actress or something else
@leslea001 you're applying human morals to an absurd/surreal candy commercial. the difference between this and say, a vile commercial, is that it doesn't come to a conclusion on what human morals 'are'. a commercial that legitimately supports abuse might actually try to convince people that child abuse is okay. this commercial doesn't even come close to doing that - it merely creates an outlandish story that's a little sad, but it's not vile or degrading in the least. it's just ridiculous.
So this commercial. Sorry you don't get basic healthcare, even from your parent, you're not allowed to try & better your situation & you're required to subsume even your most basic needs for the profits of those who only want to take advantage of you. HOW is this a GOOD commercial again? This isn't awesome. It's degrading & vile.
...and they really think this would make someone eat skittles...the knowledge that skittles ruined someone's life...(I know it was staged and those were actors, but still)
So, the moral of this story is, _Skittles_ come from exploiting disabled people.
