This is how I see the song which was initially mentioned by another Norwegian MGP fan.
Grandma = The safe, the happy, the warm
Wolf = The threat, the dangerous, the scary
Banana = A 'solution', help, protection
Others may not see it the same way :)

I will eat my hat if the Ylvis-brothers are not behind this. It might not be them performing, but they have a finger in this, for sure. The production is just like the Fox

    Have a banana and enjoy!
Most Norwegians recognize the singers. One of them is probably English.

There are 8 layers to the song, according to Keith and Jim🤪

"People who usually watch Eurovision". Exactly. You people who usually watch Eurovision have made it to serious for us people who used to watch Eurovision 15-20 years ago. You took away the joy for other people. Those of us who used to watch Eurovision every year, who knew most of the songs for the last years at that time. You put politics into it, and made it something else that it used to be - a moment to come together and enjoy the music, the performances and just have a friendly competition.
All became totally uninteresting. I quit watching it, and so did many other people. It became something that many of the best artists never could dream of becoming a part of. It is like The European Championship in music without the best players competing.
Subwoolfers are most likely some of Norways best artists - sure - one of them is probably English, but he is living in Norway. They chose to do something else than dramatic and swell ballads, which many of the people usually watching Eurovision seemingly love. They chose to give us pure joy - and a mystery. If there is something we need at the time, it is just that.
