Yesterday morning, I was Afking the left spot while making breakfast. Got an FB message from a friend asking if I was AFKing, because I got "The pet" came back to the computer to see myself standing at deaths office, with a bunch of people congratulating me for getting the Chaos pet. by the time I got back, it was gone. Someone must have lured the Chaos elemental over to me in hopes of me dying, I just happened to kill it before I died and it dropped the pet, at 151 kills too. My clannies have a screenshot of the conversation "I bet hes AFK and doesnt even know he got the pet lol" "Oh now, i died lol"

I was having some issues keeping my HP up (no Zuk cape), but the xp was too good to give up. Putting Blood Siphon at the beginning of my revo bar and keeping Darkness applied helped make this method fully afk for me. Thanks!

Putrid > Scythe > Soul Strike > Skulls > Soul Sap > Death Finger.

I don't know. I'm 107 Necro and I can actually sit with soul split vamp aura and blood necklace with no familiar at all. And I tried this and the original revo bar and I was averaging 1.08-1.1m an hour with the original Revo and 1-1.05 with the one suggested

Blood Siphon seems somewhat useful for keeping health up and getting some chip damage in. I have it on my bar, personally, and barely have to heal at all.
It's fantastic for sustain, just not the best dps

I prefer the penance aura in combination of power/tank armour and devotion on the revo bar. No food necessary.
For gear; use relentless 5, devoted 4 and enchanced devoted 4 perks on deathwarden top and bottom, deathdealer hood and boots, cinderbane gloves and of course the blood amulet. Spring cleaner, scripture is optional.
For inventory; charm pots, overload, pray renewal, few restores, death note perk (for extra gp/hr), gold accumulator and some sara brew in case of emergency. You can use blood siphon for healing if your prayer runs out. Hf

pro tip if anyones struggling to get high xp rates
take Blood Siphon out of your rotation
i still use it manually, but ive gone from low 700k nec xp/hr to mid 800s. little noticeable difference to gameplay and afk-ness.
If you are having trouble sustaining (i.e. not using vampyrism), I have two tips.
The first tip is to add the "Blood Siphon" ability to the front of your bar (and increase your revolution bar by 1); this should do the majority of your sustaining for you, and will allow you to use the "Penance" aura so that you can legitimately afk. If your "Penance" aura runs out, the attuned ectoplasmator + demon horn necklace in combination will keep your prayer up.
The second tip I have is to just move. The locations that are suggested in this guide are given to optimize exp/hr, but if you have a lower level account, or are missing any of the requirements from the video, or can't follow the suggestions I gave, then move your character. I advise going towards the north side below the scorpion pit. You will have many less spawns that go aggro on you, and if you find you are able to sustain, move one square south at a time until you find a spot where you can maximize your exp/hr.
Good revo bar. I use eof, t90 tank, zuk cape + t90 weps with penance aura and darkness. I don't take damage at all. Dodge everything. Oh and soul split.

im only getting 400k per hour, any idea why that may be? i'm using bunyip instead of reaver as i dont have seren prayers but that is really the only difference.
Blood amulet of fury works with necromancy 🤯
I found it best to use cryptbloom boots and gloves with animate dead. While using penance aura with soul split and sorrow prayer. With eof and Elder overload salves.
@@Deucez_music You do that with necro, you use 2 pieces of off-class armor for AD and you're super tanky.

No, you want at least amulet of souls if not essence of finality, as it improves soul split, which you wanna be doing in between praying range or mage depending on the wave (and in between zuk attacks)
If you’re in the wildy you don’t need the aggro potions lol.
All wilderness monsters do not build tolerance so never go passive.

The aggro pots do seem to help if someone else stands too near you / is using aggro pots themselves though

You can yeah! not sure if it changes the xp rates or not though
Considerably less xp, like 650k/h this bc u got only 5 Spawn on pod, but on wildy You can kill 7/8 at the same time

The main ability use is the scythe, skulls will just fire every now and then but isn't the goal of use

not worth it, better off killing them in the sanctum outside of wildy if u dont wanna kill them in wildy. Wildy will always be better than sanctum because of puzzle box damage boost and damage reduction
when u say zuk cape, u mean the actual HM zuk cape or the necro variant will do just fine

All I can think of as a returning player is.. can we.. afk with expensive gear in the wilderness now? How? No more pvp?
I'm afraid its not working anymore.... my adrenaline just plummets to 0, and I wont be using death skull after the first time anymore... not even with zuk cape...

@@mahmoudqamhiyeh5857I think Necro is designed to encourage manual input in single combat, so the bar will be used to build necrotic stacks/sap souls and we manually use those resources to get the most out of the skill. It's nice and simple though, I'm not huge into combat but I really like that this is teaching me to monitor my stacks and react to what I have to work with, even if it is super simple at this stage, it's great!

Kritya rs had a nice simple vid on it, it helped me improve my dps a fair bit with just the basics. I haven't seen a decent full Revo bar though

how are people making this work? the spectral scythe ability drains all my adrenaline so that i can never conjure putrid zombie or cast death skulls. spectral scythe drains it all before i can get near 50% adrenaline
yes with Scythe changes the bar no longer has enough adren gain to get to skulls anymore
scythe got reworked, my new bar is litteraly just scythe and soul strike
The fuck. I went here with 96 necro and 95 gear and weps and virtually the same set up and i got completely rolled both attempts
why wouldnt you have ghost on revo bar for the heals?
I made this back when the ghost cost 40% to conjure and 70% to command.

I don’t get it. I use the same revo, items, and have t80 weaps armor and low and behold I get 307k an hour. Happens with anyone’s guide I use. I’m 85 necro

@@kjax139 honestly Revo and no clicking will achieve these results so it's not a skill issue, it's likely you've glossed over something essential in the requirements.
dont use blood reaver, such a gp waste. People can try bunyip + using ghost summon. Self sustains everything with just protect mage. Used on 4 accounts to get 90
tbh i just use a pakyak... barely ever use food but just incase

i found u dont need it i just use bunyip cause way cheaper but prolly like 5 if using reaver
abyssal savages can be poisoned... why not take cinderbanes and WP+++?
necro xp is based on necro damage done. if you use cinders, itll get more kills per hour, but youll get lower xp drops per kill, resulting in potentially less or likely the exact same xp per hour. using cinders and WP would be a waste of gp

Your mistake was using soul split lol. Use protect from magic :p

I've been so nervous going into the wild with my necro gear. even the area north of Fort Forinthry to kill ghosts I was like (please don't kill me). and wondering why i didn't get a warning when jumping over the wildy wall.
That't cool. I don't think anyone cared for pkers in the wildy. The paranoia and ptsd really takes the joy out of being in the wild. But it made sense. Won't miss it though. I've been killing the abyssal savages at sennisten. I get about 500k xp/hour. Curious how I'll fair at this at this area. I'm 101 in about 10 minutes. I'll head up there after that. :)
@@InitYeah ok I'm finally looking into it. so apparently you get ambushed by monsters periodically and they become more lethal the longer you are in the wildy? and certain things force you into pvp mode, like cursed wisps?
Exact setup, sans first necromancer armour, and CANNOT reproduce exp rates... Best I can get s 550k

If anybody still uses this method I have a great bar for those who don’t use Death Skulls (if they can’t generate enough Adrenaline).
Conjure undead Army > Putrid Zombie (as it will instantly explode the zombie from the first one) > Scythe > Soul Stike > Soul Sap
That’s all I use and works like a dream without having to use Skulls 😊
this couldnt be any farther from afk, used up an entire inventory of rocktails and sara brews in about 6 minutes and had to leave

@@mattarmstrong7362 its afk in the asylum, but not in the wilderness. Whatever is different idk but the wildy you get melted, but in the asylum its an easy afk method
