friendly tip for any new viewers, as of the release of requiem for a dragon, you have access to the ungael ritual spot at 75 necromancy (need to boost to 80 to make the bars for the quest), this gives you the full ritual site at lvl 75 instead of 90, it gives slightly less xp but you can use all alteration glyphs sooner, netting huge xp gains earlier.
I'm confused about something and can't find the answer anywhere. Hoping you can help. I'm lvl 66 necro trying to get 3k souls. I'm using 2 multiply 2 glyphs and an alteration necklace which is getting me to 196% attraction. Everything depleted and when I repaired all, my attraction went to 244% even though nothing changed. When it depleted again and I repaired all, it went back to 196%. What am I missing?
Correct me if i am wrong please, is training necromancy with DXP on abbysal savage more higher exp per hour than doing ritual? Each kill of abyssal savage is giving me 1700 exp per kill, so is that higher exp per hour than doing the rituals?
Rituals are much higher xp. Abyssal savages are around 800k-1000k when I tested it at 117 necromancy. I was getting 2m xp per hour with rituals. Abyssal savages are more afk, rituals are more click intensive.
Hey I have a problem following this - I can't get to 240/340 soul attraction even with the necklace and 2x attraction as you say in the guide. Did you make a mistake on the number? You say normally we get to 200/300 but the necklace gets us over. Necklace gives 20% not 40% so where is the other 20% from?
Ah yes I must have included the base 100% soul attraction with the 20% multiplicative boost from the alt necklace for that calculation. Having a soul attraction of 220% vs 240% isn't a huge difference though and you would still want to do the same method. In fact, training necromancy from rituals during levels 60-90 may have changed with the Ungael ritual site since you have access to the full T3 site at level 60 necromancy, as long as you can complete the quests. This way you can reach an even higher soul attraction, although you get 20% less xp from disturbances at Ungael.
@@SilencedRS no worries. I was just trying to follow your guide to the letter and that was the only thing that didn't fit. Got 1-100 necro in 3 days thanks to this guide. Cheers!
is any attraction over 500 usefull? like more chance to get disturbances? when than you just need 2 attraction III glyphs and can use 2x multiplication glyphs and you also over 500% with some extra output. only works over 99
You don’t get more disturbances with higher attraction, but you will get higher tier disturbances more often. For example at 500% soul attraction you’ll get a defile distraction about 10% of the time, whereas at 700% it’s more like 30% of the time
Isn't the multiply glyph much better than attraction glyphs for souls? Example: with 2 attraction II glyphs and dragonkin bones (lvl 85), I attract 20 souls at a time, but with 2 multiply II glyphs I get 36 souls
I have 120 necro, but have never done a ritual or used the skill in any way and I am completely lost. After watching this I'm even more confused, but not by any fault of you! I don't know where or how to start because I clicked thru the tutorial and lamped the exp to 120.
Well the Necromancy quest gives a tutorial for rituals. You go to the ritual site and choose a ritual by clicking on the pedestal. Then you draw the required glyphs
@@SilencedRS 5 months later i actually took time to look at your guide and i understand it lol. I got the ritual part down, now i need to look into the combat part. Thanks so much, most guides out there were on release so they are hard to understand. This guide was slow and clear... and explained things in detail. Thanks alot
This is a poor place to train Necromancy, no offence Jagex. It's best to train it normally just like attack, strength, defence, range, and magic. There are also no Necromancy dummies to train on. This is because Jagex want players to train it at the ritual site.
THANK YOU for this. Man, I haven't found a single helpful player for rituals.. I'm non-combat.
Appreciate this greatly.
I'm glad the video was helpful! Good luck with your Necromancy training!
Just got to 99, but will be useful for 99-120. I think I’ll make this my first 120.

Thank you. your explanations are clear. This will help me greatly get from 87 to 99 (and beyond)
Glad it helped! Good luck on 99 Necromancy!
Thanks was looking to lvl necro up with rituals
I used super zamorak brew for boosting when I had to use boost. It's much cheaper than using super/extreme necro potion.
Thanks, did the same.
Thank you so much!
Pro tip you can use elder overloads to do some of these strats even earlier, e.g. attraction 3 at lvl 88
How do you boost your ectoplasm gains thugh? im stuck at 54 with 3 multiply 3's and a multiply 2 on my cape.
Grinding Dxp on Necro as off this Comment, But Thank you for the Advice i'm gonna try that Set up
what specific rituals do you recommend from 80-90, then 90 and above? did i miss this part
It's the same exp 🦃
alteration necklace gets u to 220% not 240%
i thought i was going crazy lol
at what level do you recommend really doing pvm for necro xp ?
Rituals are better xp but it’s good to do some combat within 60-70 necro and some more around 80-90 to get more unlocks for your well of souls

from 102 to 120 or 200m exp, which ritual we're you doing? if you said which one i didn't catch it.
Do you recall how much of each ink you needed for 1-120? Or 99-120?
I do not but i would estimate around 500-1000 for 120
with dxp bonus xp and cinder cores it can reach wild levels. 5-10mil

@@SilencedRS so actually you only did a mistake on the 240 statement. 340 and beyond was correct.
You get 220% at the 66 boost with alt necklace.

for max exp so its 3 attrac and 1 speed in cap ? i use all attrac 3 and 1 in cape . its bad?
3x attraction 3 and 1x speed 3 is the best xp per hour based on my testing.

I did 748% attraction with a t3 speed alteration glyph, and was getting 9-10m xp/hr this DXP.. some disturbances are over 50k xp each at this point
@@kadjmusicgetting absolutely nowhere near 5m per hour 👀

Honestly defile is better to just click everytime it goes up relying on the sound will fuck you out of exp
Clicking every tick (every time the bar goes up) is another good strategy, especially if you have sound off
Does double xp work for Necro skill?
Yes it does

Nice
you never said what ritual for 102-120...

How come all guides in this never explain how to actually performe rituals.....
Because it's super easy and really doesn't need explaining. It's self-explanatory, really

Mystic cloth is fuckin expensive
Is that the stuff you can buy at port sarim?
all this information and no talk about elder ovals giving you massive skips
