On "My Car Story" we're in Rosemont IL on 3-2-17 at the World of Wheels Car Show.
We're looking at a 1967 Pontiac Firebird Convertible in Pearl White Paint with a 400 CI Engine.
The car's being shown by Chuck Woolery. Chuck and his wife Debbie are Owners of the Run Rite Classics Restoration Shop that restored this car. Chuck shares details of this classic first year Firebird that looks like the original at first glance, however their Restoration Team have added modern parts to help this car run and handle better than when it was new.
This car is AMAZING.
If you’d like your car restored to this condition, contact Chuck & Debbie at their shop Run Rite Classics. The shop is located at 1409 Heightsview Dr., Houghton Lake, MI 48629. You can call 1-989-422-4747 or go to the website at www.runriteclassics.com

Hi Eric, Happy to read you're getting ready for a restoration on a 67 Firebird Convertible too. You're welcome, Lou
I had a 67 400, all stock and loaded up with all the options, it was formerly owned by a Pontiac dealer and it was White with Red interior and that combination was stunnin, and let me tell you FAST, like neck wrenching, I miss that car, but this was fun seeing it sort of again, thanks for sharing.

My mom bought a brand new Firebird in 1967 for about $3000. It had the 326 V8 with automatic transmission, it was goldish-brown with a black vinyl roof. But i'll never forget the one i saw in the showroom to this day: i was six years old and there was one that was a sandy dune, light brown convertible with the top down with WHITE interior. Absolutely the most stunning car i've ever seen. I will never forget it.
Clearly wonderful memories of your Mom's car Rudolph Guarnacci :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou
@@loucostabile yes, lou, they were. Thank you for taking the time and acknowledging that.

Very nice car!!!!😊
Hi Gerald Semrau, Glad you like this one :-) Lou
Fabulous car. Maybe the nicest 60s muscle car. But question: Why bother with adding the spare tire and jack? That car will never be on the road side with a flat needing to be changed.
High praise :-)
WOW :)
Hi Michael, Happy to receive a "WOW" from you :-) Lou
@@loucostabile 😀
A beautiful car however one of the first things I look for on these 1st generation Firebird 400's is the split tailpipes on each side.
Hi lant1er
, Thank you for viewing and sharing your thoughts. Lou
Well, it's obvious that Chuck isn't the typical anal-retentive purist car man... he appears more of the intelligent, functional type, not afraid to improve yet still honoring tradition and history.
Lovely car but the wheels are not of my taste! This model is one of the most gorgeous design from Pontiac!!! That front end is just sexy !
Hi TheHelado36, Glad you shared and feel this car is gorgeous and sexy! Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou
my first car was also a 67 firebird, white with a black convertible roof, 396 four barrel 4 speed manual, 11 mpg, but not this new, bondo ...
Hi greenglass2, Happy to read this car brings back memories of your 1st car :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou
67 400, cherry.
:-)
How much???
Not sure.
Sorry, not a restoration. The POCI would have to judge it as modified. There are so many non-stock items. It is a great street car though
