@@lfpaz81 gatekeeping the literal biggest gateway metal band is cringe you're not special or different for listening to the most popular metal band weirdo
@0:44 Much respect for the ASL interpreter in the front! 🤘🔥🎸
Why does this make me want to cry for Eddie 🥲
Who is Eddie? There’s never been an Eddie in the band! I’m so confused
@@Ausi1980 stranger things
Good too see Metallica gaining newer fans. Have seen them live 4 times myself my first show back in Dublin rds 2003. Been a fan since 1997
The black album is what got me into music when I was a kid in the 90's. Then I fell in love with their older stuff.
Seeing them live is near the top of my bucket list, definitely gotta make that happen soon.
@@Teh_Random_Canadian worth it man. They really are fantastic live and I dont care what anyone says I've seen lots of bands but Metallica shows are sensational. The fans are first class
Brings back memories of Eddie, R.I.P
Props to the girl signing the concert for the hearing impaired. Awesome job.
My daughter and I are paying dearly today for the good time we had yesterday lmao! Metallica was awesome!
This melodic singing James is taking is actually amazing!
Singing*
41 years on career and they still rock so hard, such amazing!!!
The fact that this song once again resurfaces after almost 40 years like it's groundbreaking is something else, very very cool. Im not a die hard Metallica fan, but i have nothing but huge respect for everything they have accomplished
I'm just glad people are finally finding out about Metallica after all these decades of paying their dues.
Dude a few are, they are one of the biggest bands on the planet WAAYY before Stranger Things.
A new generation of people are finding them thanks to Stranger Things, but you act like Metallica wasn't one of the biggest bands on the planet for most of the last 40 years.
"Paying their dues?" Lol that's dumb to say, Metallica is easily one of the most successful bands of all time.
They’ve been the number one metal band for like 30 years who are these weirdos just finding out
I'm glad Billy Strings gained some new fans at this festival.... Plenty of AWESOME bands/artists out there you never heard of who have been paying their dues and will never be played on mainstream radio, just like BMFS..........
I’m not a huge Metallica fan but watching this literally gave me chills, they are amazing performers
I've never been a Metallica fan, in fact I started to like them because of Stranger Things and I'm just proud that Eddie/Joseph met these metal legends.
Oh dude you're in for one hell of a journey if you keep listening. My favorite albums were master of puppets, the black album, ride the lightning, and load. The documentary "a year and a half on the life of Metallica"is fantastic too if you become a huge fan
@@ccclaw13 Thanks for the recomendations
Damn, I hope you'll listen to more of their stuff. Trust me, buddy, you're in for one hell of a ride! Master of Puppets album is the best metal record of all times.

No. Just no.
kidding me? he has sounded awful for 20+ years

No... When he was young he was a monster...

Kirk nailed that solo!
It usually happens when you've been playing it the same way for over 30 years...
@@itsDelfi nope, if you were someone that listened to a lot of live Metallica, you would know that is not the case
@@CPAJayhawk exactly! You can tell he really brushed up and focused on the solo for this one because of the significance in relation to ST and knowing that all eyes are on them. He definitely just rolls through the motions on all the other concerts
It didn’t sound like the one in the actual song but it has been a couple of decades sooo 😅
I literally cannot express how happy I am that so many more fans have came over to the metal side!!! WELCOME HOME!!!
I can just imagine them going to their first metal shows, and I have chills. I'm so fuckin excited for the newbies.
SANITARIUM!!!
i really want to go to a w.a.s.p concert but i’m so scared of going alone 😅
@@koreknoes9357 here's the thing ya gotta know about metal festivals/concerts. Everyone is immediately your family. If you need friends, boom, friends. Me and my best friend go nearly every year, and we've adopted pit babies multiple times. If you can't find someone to go with you, adopt someone in the crowd and you're good to go. There are of course gonna be a few jerks in any crowd, but metalheads are the most loving and accepting crowd I've ever met.
Yassssssss bring themmm!!!! We have waited!
Ill never forget the fact i was bullied in school for liking this kind of music, and dressing in their style back in the early 2000's, now the people who bullied me are their biggest fans because of a TV show.
Jame’s vocals are fucking spot on🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Wouldn't say that I'm a die-hard Metallica fan, I like a lot of their tracks and have been listening for about 15 years, but there are definitely bigger fans out there. That said..
When Master of Puppets came on S.T. I scared the living shit outta my other half screaming with joy at the TV and cranked the volume up to *11*. Most euphoric feeling I'd ever had watching a TV show!
This show was nigh on perfect, the only way and I mean literally *the only way* it could have been any better was if Joseph was up there jamming with them, even if just for the beginning of the track 🤘
This song never gets old!
One of the greatest Rock Bands of all time. Metallica will always rock it! 🤘
Dude this is the best I have heard James sound in a loooong time. You can tell hes really worked on his voice and vocal health.
what i would do to hear James Hetfield scream MASTERRRRUHHH at a concert omg
Why did I get emotional man!!! I just love rock n roll!!!!!!
Metal you mean 😅😂
@@FreysnHD well metal its a rock n roll sub genre 🤷♂️
Me too. I have tears in my eyes right now and I don’t know why 😂
His voice sounds younger than ever. Bon Jovi should take notes on how to maintain your instrument.
The line "come crawling faster obey your master" gives me so much energy
They forget the CHRISSY THIS IS FOR YOU but i really love it
That camera work is great
The intro especially
My favourite Metallica record of all time. It's great to see them playing it almost 40 years later, with such energy 🤟🤟
Eddie this is for you!
Can we also please appreciate the sign language translator on stage? Hell yeah ❤️🤘🏻
I can't smash "like" on this enough. I've seen them live twice and they always put on a helluva show. Stoked to see Eddie Munson in the background. Absolutely badass.
Why did I just now find these guys! They are incredible at preforming! Even pulling in the audience to sing those little bits is amazing! I came to enjoy Metallica because of Eddie, and I’m glad I did because these guys are such amazing human beings

If Stranger Things helps a younger audience to discover Metallica, and Metal in general, that's super cool! 🤘🏻
Second time seeing them, first time was at soldier field. They went a full 2 fucking hours AT A FESTIVAL. Legendary. Neck still hurts. Glad to see so many kids getting into them, these guys are a fucking institution. Cliff would've been so proud.
Hopefully the new fans also check out other great metal bands… like iced earth
0:30 MASTER!!!! (damn! had goosebumps!)
Damn this performance is elite.
Even the asl interpreter looks like a badass metal head. Love this band.
I've been listening to these guys for all my life, they made the music that raised me. I'm so glad people are discovering them thanks to Stranger Things, which I also love. I don't understand the animosity some old fans have towards new fans, the more the merrier! 🤘
It's so cool that shows like Stranger Things could introduce a wealth of music from 35 years ago to the new generation. Also rekindling the hearts of people who used to love these music.
With a Master concert like that Metallica can tun any place in the world UP SIDE DOWN back to live 🤘 the idea to put Stranger Things Master of Puppets on the screen brought the crowd wilder then ever, love you Metallica ❤🎸🤘

At Brazil James was a bit hopeless, and felt getting old. But this here show, they still sound amazing. Metallica forever!

Talk about coming full circle. It all came together for these guys and it's still not over. Just wow.
