The air forks on the 2015 250 Hondas are very good until you put about 5-10 hours on the bike then they have a little defect. they become very choppy and stick every so often, this happens with most 2015's but Honda wont admit/tell people about it. every 5-10 hours you have to take them apart and fix them. just make sure you know this before buying one! - Авто та транспорт
I had a Yamaha PW80 when I was around 12 and was wanting to get back into riding. I'm 17 now and someone was wanting to trade a 4wheeler for one of these. Will it be too much for me since I haven't rode in a while? I don't race or anything, just trail ride.
hey dude pretty envious of your new bike! btw your shifting is super smooth, do you use clutch? let off? or just hold the throttle and shift?
im 6'1 and 190lbs is the crf250r a good bike for me?
i have one too!! Great bike
Love the chest mount everyone says it's bad but it's different.
I think its great, you can see all the movement
Im a bit split about the chest mount. It's nice to see another view for once, and its nice to see whats going on with the bike, and the movments. On a helment mount you wouldn't even know if the road someone is going down is bumpy or flat. On a chest mount you would notice very little bump, which is nice. Still kinda miss seeing more of the track ahead though.
💪Nice and smooth ride man
+עידו אלון eh thanks, appreciate it
Do u do any trail riding? I do trail riding and just bought a new bike just like yours, crf 250rI'm 15 and never ridden a bike this big, is it a good bike to do trails?
wow I got the bike 3 days ago. I had to dial in the front suspension. besides that it has great power all the way through. just ordered fmf pipe, boyseen watercooler, renthal sprockets. honda deffintly did there homework on fuel maping. Thx for comments and video.
+b More yeah its a great bike, she'll sound dope with the fmf's on her!
+Chris Bingham can you please answer me asap i have the money now i need to decide
nice job sparkles
Nice ride! I have a 2009.
Thanks! And nice man!
i have a 15 crf250r and have 150 plus hours on it from show room new and all i did is do a valve ajustment because i race it
I had maybe 200 hours give or take, didn't have to do anything until we sold it
By sticking do you mean they wont rebound fully or they stay down. I have they same bike and my forks wont come up they are shy like an inch from the top. All my suspension people say its air pressure. have you fixed it yet?
That's exactly the problem we have, when ur done riding you can pull them up that little bit and sometimes they pop up themselves, you can feel it when it riding too. Honda has pretty much kept this secret I guess, they're not fixing it and not making it public I guess. We have to take ours apart every 5-10 hours of riding to keep them from sticking
What do you do when you take them apart? Or just disassemble and reassemble
Dude im sorry I said that it was wrong I'm a new sub now.😀
hi, iam 5'5 and looking at a 2011 CRF 250F, would that be to much for me...i'am a experienced rider and have done enduro in the past?? thanks plz reply
Yea get it dude
Wouldn't be too bad
Wouldn't be too bad
I like ruts but not when they are slushy and wheel hight deep
Hey ive riden before so ik how to ride but im 5'9 just about 5'10 about 160 do u think this is a good first bike
Yeah you'll be good
Chris Bingham ight Thanks
Really missing my bike right now
I'm 6ft and weigh about 140lbs I used to have a crf80 4 stroke when I was 13 so I have a little experience with clutch what's a good size bike for me?
Crf250
Get a 4 stroke 250 trail bike or something not geared towards racing if you haven't ridden anything other than crf80
No oil in the forks at all?
+tcepilot there is oil, the problem is you lose it quickly... its hard to explain
I have the exact same bike and I put about 20-25 hours on it and had no trouble with the forks like you said in the description. Have you checked the psi on the forks? May just need an adjustment.
+ThatGamingMustang we change the suspension setup for most tracks man its the air forks, the 450's are great but myself and a couple others have had problems
the 250 & 450 use different air forks. My 2015 crf450r came with KYB PSF-2 air forks, but I swapped them out for some 48mm Showa spring forks with Race Tech springs.
hey im 14 5'8 have about 4 years riding experience i currently ride a Crf150RB and was looking to move up in the next year or so would i be able to handle this beast?
josh mm Oh for sure man! I was rippin a 125 when I was 11
thanks
Do the different engine maps make a big difference
rambler rich Makes a huge difference! especially at different tracks, long, short, muddy, sandy it helps a lot.
Thanks going to buy the builbase or world edition in January
rambler rich nice man
I am 5 ft 8, is this bike too big to me or should i get CRF150R, i got KTM 125sx
+Manki Jäbä if you are already riding a 125 definitely get the 250, I was a little shorter than you when I started on my first 250
Cory Huff I'm 5,9 and I have trouble
Laihianlihavin I'm 5'4" and 119 lbs and have no troubles work I like it's nothing
Good job! Really good made video and great riding!
how much would this cost now
Uh anywhere from 5k to maybe 7k if it's brand new I'd say, I have no clue though, just google it
Im interested in buying a 2015 crf250r for my next bike. How do you like yours? Pros? Cons?
all around amazing bike, nothing bad about it, its weird getting used to air forks but once you do its the perfect machine
Chris Bingham alright thanks man!
Any recommendations for a solid first bike ? I'm around 170lb , 6 ft , any help would be much appreciated thank you !
+Jarren should be good for any bike really
+Chris Bingham alright , any suggestions for a first bike ?
+Jarren Hondas are great for first bikes as they have a smoother more forgiving power
Cr500 jk like any 250 four stroke or 125 two stroke
I think this is going to be my next bike ive got the sxf 250 2014
Good choice
getting one in a week :)
Very nice bike!
Thanks!
Haha my next bike is gonna be rmz250 or yami or honda
Sick video man!
I'm 18 and 5"3. I want to get a dirt bike, I've got adequate experience. Do you think this bike would be good for me? Height wise and power? Thanks in advance :)
Shazza1747 yea man its a really good bike and it has 3 different power settings
Chris Bingham Sweet, cheers man :)
how are you 5'3 and 18
id get the suzuki rm 85L (the big wheeled version) its a 2 stroke, so much power
I am 5'5" weigh 135 what should I get? No 2 strokes
+Abel Yanez if you have some experience then the crf150r no experience then crf125fb good experience then crf250r
***** I said the crf125 if he has no experience. Either you are stupid and brainwashed or you misread my comment. You may not realize, but if you have no experience, a lot of power isn't a good thing. I've been riding motorcycles since I was 4 and the power of any 250 is not something to be messed with. Please read every part of my comment. You must have not read his comment either because he said no 2 strokes. Also if you look, I recommended the 250r if he had experience, but both of those bikes you mentioned are motocross bikes, and if he isn't riding motocross, there is a better choice out there. The crf125 is an excellent trail bike and I know riders with plenty of mx experience who ride them quite frequently as an mx bike. not for competition obviously, but I have ridden it and I can tell you it can do just about everything. Trail, track, wheelies, etc, it can get it done and it's also a great bike to learn on
***** ywah I guess that's fine, even though I've been riding for 11 years, I'm still quite careful with 250s, as it only takes one small mistake to get you hurt badly on a bike that powerful
I'm 165cm tall and 13y/o and my question is: Am i too short for this Honda CRF250R? And if so what bike should i get? (four stroke) Sorry for bad English i'm from Sweden :)
Thx
You should be good, and all bikes are good I just prefer Hondas
Chris Bingham Okay so, it isnt to heavy or something? Because i was looking at a Honda 150RB before this
+Frozki ツ I've just always rode a honda
dude that track looks super fun where is that? props on the new bike btw hows the air forks?
its in Ontario its called panic rev, such a fun track! and they are amazing but it was weird getting used to them at first
Chris Bingham nice looks good man, looks like you were having to go around a part of the track was it just to wet?
Kurt 450 yup it was too wet there are other videos on my channel that show that part.
Chris Bingham Nice! Are you a Canadian, friend?
pboy5456 yup im canadian
Im 13 my height is 5'11" and i'm 160pounds any suggestions on a dirt bike I should get? I've never ridden a dirt bike with a clutch.
Alright Lol
+John Foley you could easy handle 125-150
da klutz Thanks
+John Foley A 250 for sure. You are too tall for those other bikes
Jack Clasen Thanks
Do you have still problems with forks ?
Yep about every 5-15 hours spent on the bike and they need to be taken apart
+Chris Bingham I'm in serious consideration of buying one of these bikes might I ask why do they need to be taken apart so often. Is it because of the switch from oil to air forks?
+Dan Thompson it's just that they start to stick, it gets less and less smooth going up and down, it's not a hard fix and yes it's because of the air forks
oh ok I gotch yah. Thanks my man! love the video
+Dan Thompson anytime
ypu have to do the same to a crf230f? 2015
Not sure, do they have air forks?
+Chris Bingham I'm new to this so idk lol
The want is strong😍
+XGN INFERNO KI I am getting a 2016 450 shortly, will be vids up of that for sure
Gdzie jest ten tor? Location? :)
+PlayGaame Ontario
I'm about to buy 2015 crf250r. can't pass up. 6200 out the door. I'm average rider. my son rides crf150r but is 6ft and he is dragging his feet all the time. I'm worried this will be to much power. I would like for him to jump up to 250r. just wanted to know if this bike is a good bike all around. looked at yamaha but there alot more money. I think 6200 is a steal. any help would be very appreciated. Thx
+b More its a great bike, will be perfect power, I was on a 250 when I was 12 years old and like 5 9
+Chris Bingham more like 5 7
+Chris Bingham sorry to keep asking so many questions dude. when you first got your bike how did you break it in? also what type of oil / weight do run. and should I change it after breaking it in right away or ride a couple hours? thanks bud I appreciate all your feedback .
b More Its all good man. To break it in you just basically go to a track or field and ride around at constant revs for a bit and then slowly ease in to getting faster, don't be hitting the rev limiter right away pretty much. And we use 10-40 in motor and maxima 80wt in the clutch/tranny. I would change it after your first ride, so like break it in ride around for however long and change it when your done. we haven't done anything to the motor other than oil changes ( over 150 hours) and everything is still in spec. needs a new top end now but it will last a long time if you take care of it. Don't forget to clean your airfilters ahah
+Chris Bingham thanks dude I will do just that. awesome 150 hours and no ajustment to valves?. sweet. again thank you. any other tips you can think of just let me know when you have time. # crf250r is a beast.
im 210 lbs(trying to lose it :( ) and a intermediate rider. would this be a good bike for me or should i go 450?
valamere101 depends I guess, prob 450
***** If you have a 450 and still want more power, you're not riding it right.
+Ryden Swalwell then buy a 2 stroke :P
I'm getting a 450, 6ft and 180 too
+valamere101 thank you all for replaying im thinking i want a 07ish rmz450 i currently ride a pumped out 04rm250
I'm 4'7 should I get one of these? I weigh 200LBS
MrTwoShot it would be hard to touch
Hah, Just trolling, but thanks for the reply.
***** huh
***** ohhhh cuz its a Honda?
***** I think you got hondas mixed with ktms bud
My suspension guy said the problem could be needing an alignment
It's the air forks, my suspension sponsor is mb1 and they said it happened to all Hondas with air forks 2015 it's just a flaw in the design
Good fucking riding!!!!
Thanks man!
2017 yz 250f or 2017 crf 250r
Elias Boyle I like crf250r , good bike , fast and light .
Alright I'm gonna ask the question,
I'm 5'8" and about 130 pounds with gear on. How would I do on that beast?
Is it bad that I am 13, 6'2, 165 lbs and I ride a 150f? Lol
Yeah you should get a bigger bike
What do you mean nope
I like ruts
I'm talking about really fuckin deep ruts up to the top of your wheel
Ruts are good
Chest mounts suck, 4 minutes was the best i could do looking at a renthal bar pad.
Cool looking track though even with a fucked up perspective.
don't like it don't watch it
Beat ya to it, decided at 4 min i didn't like it so stopped watching. If that's how you want to deal with feedback fine, best of luck with your future shitty chest mount vids.
hardrider thanks
Connor Reid Lol, did i upset your b/f?
What exactly do i need to wise up about, do i need to like chest mounts and the shitty view and perspective they give?
Go check any review on mount positioning and you will find chest mounts rate poorly, maybe you should wise up and go back to blowing your b/f's knob.
hardrider are you even eligible to chirp?
Get mad Chaz lol
I have a 2005 CRF250 the rev limiter gives me orgasms. THERE FUCKING SICK!!!!
Sorry but bad footage on go pro ✨3/10
Sorry but I don't care 1/10
lol rekt
The quality of the riding totally makes up for the bad quality video :) you my sir are a great rider! keep doing what your doing bro
just saying by now every mx rider hates deep ruts
Nope
Richy
Jk
+T3RK GAMER huh
lol over rev muchh!!
brandin bartley lol what?
Worst bike in the class.
Na I don't think so mate just cuz u prefer Kawasaki doesn't mean we all do .I think the Suzuki is the worst
kx250fmotocross in my opinion rides just lke a kawi
suzuki is the best, dipshit. Tell me how suzuki is bad? In a finniah motocross magazine suzuki became 1st of 250's.
*finnish
+vertti syrjälä Suzuki is definitely last in the main brands
