It's a fascinating and very good transcription. Maurice Jacobson was a dab hand at this, witness his excellent two-hand arrangement of Warlock's Capriol Suite. Nonetheless, and despite the sensitive playing of these two artists, I don't think this most magical of string pieces really "works" on piano. No matter what you try, ultimately the instrument will always be too percussive and short-winded to successfully evoke the long and smooth lines of RVW's string writing. I think the tempi are a little too brisk here but that might just be personal preference.

is there any way you could make an arrangement for one piano? i know some parts are impossible to sustain well with just one piano, but there are lots of parts that nevertheless would sound amazing on just one piano
