This bodystyle is 1998-2002 only. But I can tell its a 1999 year.
Passengerside door handle was not equipped with a key cylinder in 1999-2002 years, only. Eliminates 1998 model.
The Donnelly-style autodimming inside rearview mirror was equipped in 1998 and 1999 years, only. Eliminates 2000-2002 models.
If you need further indication:
Although the trunk-mounted CD changer is dealer installed. If it were factory, it would be mounted inside floor mini center console of interior, But that CD changer style was equipped in 1999-2002 years only. Eliminates 1998 model.
Also, seat air bags were equipped in 1999-2002 models, only. Eliminates 1998 model.
Leather case of manual is from 1998-2001 models only. Eliminates 2002 model.
Continental emblem on the passengerside (Lincoln on the driverside taillight) was equipped in 1999-2002 models, only. Eliminates 1998 model.

I have a 1996 Lincoln Continental here in the UK. This is definately later model than 96? Mine has air ride, yours has springs and shockers. Sadly I can't locate ABS Rings or sensors. Any pointers on locating these would be appreciated.

yeah I need new ABS sensors for my '96 continental. The're crazy expensive even here in the US.

@@isaiahhiggins Dont they just use wheel bearing speed sensors for traction control and abs?

@@madmod Maybe they work in conjunction. I took the actual sensors out and they looked pretty fried. Strangely enough, in icy conditions I still feel the brakes pulsing despite the ABS light being always on.

@@isaiahhiggins sounds like a wheel speed sensor. Ive always replaced the whole bearing with it and had no problems after.

Its definitely a 1999. 2000 doesnt have Donnelly-style autodimming inside rearview mirror, red airbag emblem, and single strip door keypad.
