Just started playing this game not more than a week ago. The grind to get the obliteration ray is the hardest for me. Took me 3 days and almost 50 solarite chests as I had no luck with challenge arenas. Nice knowing you're from PH too! Subscribed!
It is a challenge because of the drop rate but some people get the drop immediately. I had the same problem with Topaz Ring, took me about 2 days to find one. Thank you, nice to have people at home watching my videos!
Hi kababayan haha, same “luck” with obliteration ray here. I’m already done with CC when I got one (which I immediately upgraded to stormbringer). Now, I’m just farming bosses with it for gems and fun. 😆
have kind of the same but wear ninja armor + atlantean helmet and a glass bead ring. got 57% crit chance and 254% crit dmg with base 47.6% melee speed (all with buff food ofc) got some inspiration from yours now. ty!
There is multiple ways to improve the build, but this one is relatively easier to obtain and can start your farm on the bosses to make your final build
@@nitro-coin8899 sorry for the late answer, but i'm far away from using optimised food rn. but i currently use: Elder Dragon FIlet (for crit chance and crit dmg) which is made of: Verdant Dragonfish + Elder Dragonfish. Sweet Lump Soup (for mining damage and melee dmg/speed) which made of: Grumpkin + Pinegrapple. and something defensive-ish. Puffy Stone Dip Snack (for boss dmg and reduced dmg taken from bosses) which is made of: Carrock + Puffungi. that's currently it, theres alot to improve, i just dont feel like it rn lol. note that you can obviously upgrade all that food with golden fruits/vegis and even with the epic version of those foods if youre skilled into cooking correctly. hope it somewhat helpes
I agree, there are other armor that could improve the DPS of this build. I recommend this build because it is relatively easy to acquire and can help you farm bosses to get your final setup.
I gotchu bro, let me make a quick video how to get all the items. I felt this video got a bit rushed so I am making a detailed one. But if you can't wait. You can get the "Obliteration Ray" from Pyrdra the Fire Titan, it has a 19% drop rate, another way is to get to Challenge Arena and get an Alien Tech Chest, the drop rate is 14.29%, you can find the arena on Shimmering Frontier biomes. There is also a chance to get it on one of the Desert Melody rooms at 3%. Now if you have that, you have to reach the passage which is in the very end of the map, it is white in color from the map, there you will find a Rift Statue where you can craft and upgrade the Obliteration Ray to the Stormbringer.
This is generally what I have setup, hope this helps: Mining - Effecient Excavation, Meticulous Miner, Miner's Strength, Mine Mine Mine!, Archeologist Melee Combat - Quick Strikes , Fast and Furious, Building Anger, Stubborn Fighter, Strength of the Ancients Range - Everything on the right hand side including the middle Vitality - Maxed Out, Strong and Healthy, Healing Potency, Protection of the Ancients, Cheat Death
This build pretty much is both that, if you want a tankier version of this, You can run this with Cosmos Armor set instead of the mining set. I would try to explore more of the newer classes soon (Mage and Summoner) and upload if i do find something

@@CodelinePK-gd1wp it's low on armor but Ivy's gear gives the most hp out of any chest/legs in the game, and the best form of damage reduction is killing the boss

You can set up a farm for Crystal biome creatures in your base and get it that way, it's also good for farming those upgrade gems.

i still need the necklace and rings, the bag, and the important the obliteration ray.

it's super strong, I used Topaz ring in one of the slots for more mining %, mixed it a bit with the cosmos Set for more HP and armor. So nice to play.
Cosmos set really makes you tanky, huge difference!

huh, i thought melee attack speed doesn't benefit Storm bringer because it's already at max attack speed of 5.0 attacks per second

Two Ancient Gem ring are better than Ancient Gem Ring + Topaz Ring?
I found that the topaz ring added a bit more damage than 2 ancient gem rings, just make sure it’s fully upgraded to get the full percentage mining

It's a version of storm bringer build the miner set is quite inefficient for DPS it's too slot heavy for it's damage return
