The thing I think they should add is after you beat the last boss and get to the core when your at the surface you should be able to play on the surface and go under ground
Harder for sure, but I do think the 2 phase fight itself is fine, maybe just tweak the 2nd phase with a few different attacks. But I do like that the boss uses your own attacks against you. Something that would have made it more difficult would have been to take your soul powers away, and it would make sence too.
Not sure about the exact amount of hours. But I think if I were to restart and only focus on getting to the end (so no base building, leveling skills, getting the best gear, etc.) I could probably finish it in like 10 hours, maybe even faster depending if I get lucky and get decent gear as drops.
I think that got removed before I made this character. Honestly idk what I did to it as it has been years since I made it. But I got most health upgrades (1.0 added a new one I dont have) however I just used those once.
In my case no, there is still the passage to explore and that boss has to be defeated. I also want to build a base in this new world so I don't have to hop from one to the other. Thanks for the comment :D

honestly for me the boss was the hardest, and i play in hard mode, the boss is already a masterpiece
They changed the fight to be a lot more difficult
