I think this is by far the best build i've seen. And i was right when i tried it out. The farm is obnoxiously time consuming, but it was all worth it because it quite literally takes out bosses in seconds. Super handy for mining and its' damage per second is extremely high. Urschleim was a cake walk, the Core Commander is as farmable as an orange slime. Do not get discouraged during your grind to make this build guys, for me personally it took a day and a half. The next day i soar through the whole game.

Tip: When you make Buff Food always use golden ingredients + any ingredients of your choosing for blue (25% better buffs) or epic with skill (50% stronger buffs), shiny larva meat dont count as golden ingredients that is the reason Verdant Gold Steak is only green rarity. Change your recipe: Golden Bomb Paper + Verdant Dragonfish for better buff food and Shiny Larva Meat + Golden Bloat Oat.

And after fighting the first three bosses and thinking we were done, we decided to see how far we could go outside before we found the end of the map, and we can promise to anyone, that the passage is only a hop, skip, and a stationary mining drill away. Edit: Also amazing video, I love seeing content for my newest hyper fixation.
You can also get obliteration ray from alien creatures, I brought some of their spawning tiles to my base, and set up automatic mob farm with conveyor belts and traps. I originally made that for upgrade gem farming, but I also got obliteration ray that way.
I minded 10-20 Solarite Boxes and got an Obliteration Ray. Then i sneeked into the Passage an farm some Pandorium Bars and the Rift Statue. Voilà i got Stormbringer 😁
I find the ancient accessories tricky , not really the topaz, as if you open 30-40 octarine chests you will get it for sure (those come from fishing on the sea water), now leveling 80~ mining can take some time hehe
Took me almost a day to find the topaz even after farming octarine chests so I guess it really is how lucky you are. True, mining blocks is really hard, but if you clear most of a specific biome, you will max it eventually.
The important ones for mining skill is Miner's strength and Mine Mine Mine! For melee skill it's Building anger, Stubborn fighter and Strength of the Ancients.
Trying to Build the Same Loadout currently. Only thing missing is the Mining Set Pants. 41 Smoldering Chests from Lava Biome and 176 Locked Galaxite Chest and the Pants are nowhere to be found. Might aswell make a new world to find more Lava Biomes 😢
I feel you, I had the same challenge with the topaz ring. Don't forget to do the digging spots in the Lava Biome too, I've gotten the pants that way too and I think it has a higher chance. Goodluck!
Mitigating fire damage can be done by crafting food that gives you fire immunity (verdant and elder dragonfish). You can also use the watering can to put out fires on floors.
Just follow the recipe in the description, Golden Puffungi + Tornis Kingfish will give you Boss Damage AND Overall damage to everything else. The Recipe's give better buff including damage to boss if you use a golden crop
I apologize for the late response, but what I personally used the Fireball Staff and used a mage build, The soaring armor set is enough and you can upgrade to the sorcerer armor too. It's a bit tricky but you will be able to kill the Titans with that set.

Made the mistake to start on hard mode with the wife now im too far in too feel like i will start a normal mode game but also kindda stuck on the ocean titan but when i get past it i would love to try get this thing!
I did start on hardmode myself, i was using a mage build using a fireball staff to kill omoroth the sea titan. Just setup the arena with wood bridges and you guys should be able to move around and dodge it with ease. Hardmode i feel is still the way to go because of the higher drop rate and the obvious challenge. Goodluck!

The Black Ring and Necklace has 50 more mining damage and 3% More Mining Speed and +9 Armor. The ancient set has: 5% More mining damage added as melee damage +23% Critical Hit Damage +4.9% Melee Attack Speed If you consider those DPS numbers on Melee damage output, side by side, the Ancient Gem Ring and Necklace will put out more damage.
@@RagingCornBread If you mean replacing the Topaz with a Black Ring, The Black ring only gives flat mining damage, the topaz ring gives 39% mining damage that scales with damage, I already tested it, Topaz is the better choice.
I apologize for not replying sooner. Was doing something. But just to be sure, i did test all possible sets for a mining damage build and this one is the highest you can get for a mining build. The 8% additional mining damage can’t beat to what you can get from the ancient ring and necklace.
The Cosmos armor gives some flat mining damage but no mining attack speed, the mining set has percentage mining damage AND mining attack speed, the Stormbringer gets bonus damage from Mining Attack Speed. Cosmos armor can be used as an alternative to the build, the damage will be slightly less but your defense will be x2 because it gives more armor which is good.
If you want to focus on raw damage against bosses, the ninja set will work but you have to use Obliteration Ray and a different set of other accessories (spine ring / Omoroth's Beak) and probably a pet that would give 3x chance of damage. But you can always experiment and find one that works for you. One good thing about this build is you can start farming everything once you have it.
I don't understand, my stormbringer is only doing like 200-1k dmg at most per damage tick.. how are you getting these high numbers. I have mostly the same gear and the few pieces I don't surely don't make up 1k to 40k damage per tick??
My gear is all fully upgraded to Level 19, I also have a pet that greatly increases my critical damage. Also, don’t forget the food buffs, they make a whole world of difference when taken correctly in the right order.
Owlux primarily then Pheromoth for super end game, you want 3 critical damage generally and 2 crit rate. You can experiment with chance for triple damage but you should be good with just consistent crit

I got this like, midway through my playthrough by venturing further than I should have, finished the whole game with just that, no sword, no pickaxe, no magic, it's ridiculous
Farming in sandbox games like Core Keeper was designed so that players can pace progression on the game. I think it is to prevent the player to have a ridiculous amount of buffs and items too early. I personally feel that it is not punishing because there is no significant loss while farming, it gets better and easier through time. I also agree that an auto option should also be available for people who can’t be bothered to do it manually, but with diminishing returns (lost of seed, chance for crop to not grow or disappear) just to keep gameplay more dynamic. But that’s my opinion.
@@Tapangking The mechanic is just horrible to the point that I had a mouse issue (and i had to repair it) by just holding the click way too long to plant. They got rid of watering the plants with sprinklers, i think they can go further. At the very least allow us to plant multiple plants like a grid 5x5 .
What’s the easiest way to get this weapon/mining tool? Without going through ra akar to get to the titans or whatever, I’m kinda new I’ve been playing since release day on console but I’m at the pandorium area, I’m pretty behind on the bosses 😅😢
I would clear the shimmering biomes using a sledge hammer and just collect all locked solarite chests and hope for the 3.18% chance and pass through and complete all challenge arena’s that i find to roll the 14.29% chance of getting it from a tech chest. I hope you get it brother.

Great vid! But can you clarify: does attack or mining speed affect stormbringer? Or both? I've been getting conflicting info everywhere I look.
It does affect stormbringer, but it is very minimal and not that significant compared to investing on mining damage.

I just maxed mining and already have 3 sets of ring/necklace, lol. Only thing I need is the obliterator. No luck yet.

Wouldnt the black ring be better i maxed out both the black and topaz and the black adds more to damage and has other stats added on?

How do you start the arenas? I've come across one, and I can't get inside.
The entrance is usually on the top, there should be a gap, when you get to the center just press interact or whatever button you use to open chests

I've been fishing for the helm for almost an hour and still didnt get it damn

there's a small chance the obliteration ray drops from locked solarite chests, you can try that way

This game really needs an automatic farm, it is too boring to farm non stop for the stupid buffs.

I agree with throwing plants in a grid, that is a good compromise.
The mining helmet will not drop I’m sure iv made the lava pools extinct with how much fishing iv done 😭
It’s a very low chance fishing in Lava. Try wearing 2 lucky rings fully upgraded and use glowing bait to increase the chance of items when fishing.
