Btw, you used the switch removal side of the tool and if you look carefully, you scratched the side of your keycap. You are supposed to pull the keycap by placing the legs of the other sides under they keycap then pulling up (x shape). Anyway, I've always used plastic tools to avoid scratching either the plate or the keycaps/switches.
Why exactly are the manufacturers build batteries into the keyboards? All I need is a solid keyboard with a cord, awesome switches in QWERTZ (German) layout. I really couldn't care less about Bluetooth, Wifi and battery lasting time, but instead need a great software (which allows for individual makro programming for Excel and Blender stuff), at least 75% or 100% layout, hall effect switches that are as silent as the Cherry Silent Red ones and a rigid base. Basically, a milled metal one would be nice. N-key rollover and a high poll rate are a must have. Any suggestions? In the past, I used a Gigabyte Osmium and Cougar K700. My girlfriend got a Cherry KC 200 MX for office work and actually it sounds and feels pretty awesome.
Separating the down motion (key compress) and key return (key rebound sound) with longer pause would make the sound test so much better and this review perfect. We all know that o-ring will silent the compression of the key, but how to silent key rebound? Well done.
