Yes, I think they got married a couple years ago, but they didn't do the whole proposal/engagement and have a proper wedding, so now they're doing all of that.
They bough a house in Amsterdam and they used their marriage license to indicate that they wanted to buy the house together. Which is not obligated in the Netherlands. I am Dutch and my parents have bought and sold multiple houses over the past 33 years they have been together. They are not married. I bought my own house in April 2021. I am also not married and me and my boyfriend had to fill in 2 extra documents because we are not married, but thats all.
