BBC ONE - Closedown, Sunday 6th August 2000

Apologies for the naff putting the camera infront of the TV mode but my DVD recorder is dead, but whilst going through a VHS tape I found a BBC ONE Closedown to Ceefax as it was the night of the annual rebroadcast tests, that's your lot for now.....

On Sunday 6th August 2000, 5-year-old Elsa watched BBC One join BBC News 24 at 4am. First, it took a break to carry out some engineering tests. Ceefax moved to BBC One.

i though bbc 1 stopped showing ceefax after the launch of bbc news 24

Either Pages from Ceefax or BBC News 24 (now BBC News Channel) showed up occasionally here in Scotland mainly before the Sign Zone.
