Interesting that BBC Wales played at this point both "Land of My Fathers" and "God Save Our Queen" but BBC Scotland didn't follow and played "Flower of Scotland" or "Scotland the Brave" before GSOQ.
I wonder if you got the full Children in Need 1990 appeal anywhere? the only clip i see is the full view of BBC Television Centre at night with the animated Pudsey Bear waving to the audience with the words "Goodnight" on it, and some clips from that appeal, but as a result, these Red Nose Day and Children in Need appeal shows are very rare to find since it was broadcasted live.

It used to run right into the night and often the show was at its best after midnight, with the best guests, racier, and Terry Wogan, a little worse for wear, was usually on top form. For example the first time I ever saw Lily Savage on TV was on Children in Need at about 1am one year.

That's 'cos the Welsh national anthem knocks the socks off all other national anthems. But then I might be biased! ;)

It's sad that even BBC ditch the imperial unit so early.
Fahrenheit isn't an imperial unit. It originated in the Netherlands by a man who grew up in Germany but was born in Poland.
This looks a bit dark. You didn’t upload this as an MPEG2 file, did you?
Not sure what settings I had - will double check next time!
