interesting that they made a game thats thankfully closer to the book more than the movie, im sure if they did it closer to the movie, people wouldnt of been too happy
Remember how Left 4 Dead had multiplayer, but you could play the campaigns with just bots besides the character you picked? Same thing here: It's technically Co-Op, but you can also play solo if you so choose, though you will be paired with bots if you go solo.
I hope they do a 2nd movie. I loved it and the game. Fantastic. Back for blood tried something a bit too different and missed the mark. left for dead friends of mine feel the same. Especially that ending gameplay boss fight ect . Was.. Off putting.
Gonna be honest, if this game was inspired from the movie, ok fine but it has very little to do with it, these zombies look much different, already at the start when he kicked the door if they follow the movie the zombies will already be runing full speed to them, and all the noise and shooting too. But i know it is a game and in the end things need to change because of it, and its good they change, too realistic can be bad, still i can have my dumb and stupid opinion yeahh. Edit: Will like to see a mod of this game to be more realistic, probably will be realy shit of a game but still fun to watch how bad its to fight the zombies from the movie.
@Steven Hunt. Partially incorrect. Some elements are taken from the books while others are taken from the film; The rest appear to be from scratch. It's still weird, but produces an interesting amount of worldbuilding in the process, and also gives nice variety to the campaigns in both level design and atmosphere imo.
@Steven Hunt Wasn't the movie mostly a zombie movie script that they already had and only later they decided to make it WWZ? It's so funny, neither game, book or movie have much in common despite sharing the universe and name.
I think its mostly inspired by the movie. The hardest difficulty in this game, the zombies only sprint and pin you down as well if there are several of them in melee range of you.
It’s funny when you first start to play the game. I shot a dead zombie 10 Times thinking he was alive. I also thought that I just need to press all the buttons to make the creep get off you.😂😂😂

This game released 4 years ago and is still solid. No other Left 4 Dead alternative came close to this.
Since when 4-year old games are not solid? There are much older games that are better than anything that has come out in the last couple of years.
