The toilet paper dispencer is because people in china will take the rolls if it isnt locked up. Really anything that is free they will take the aunties love free stuff like coffee creamers at starbucks and soap from bathrooms.
There are locked toilet paper dispensers that don't require an app though lol
why don't they just install a camera and screen in toilet to publicly shame anyone who takes too much of tp?

I love china's beautiful scenery, especially in Beijing
Had to think about the jumprope thing. I guess it's for keeping rhythm, especially for boxers who do it. If you're off you'll hit the rope, but would be hard to tell just from jumping on the spot.
The rope has a weight, so it's an arm and cardio workout just to flip the rope. Especially if you pick a weighted rope. It also trains coordination, which is important for fighting sports for example.
