Man I love Jake. It's inspiring to see him traveling and doing what he wants while makes great friends along the way, but also kind of reminds me of the fact that I'm not doing anything with my life, just merely existing. I hope one day I live a life as awesome as his.

Just came back to all the old Japan/China videos and i miss that time so much
honestly wish i could live my life like jake looks like a dream
This got me really emotional.
I used to live abroad in Thailand when I was younger. Plenty of friends, plenty of girls, plenty of opportunities. I pissed it all away in my hubris, and moved back to America to restart my life. Battled 5 years of depression, met a girl that got me out of it, lost the girl, back into depression and debt. Now I'm an old, mid thirties, friendless, sour, lonely, depressed piss boy, stuck in America. I want back to fun times like these every time I watch Jake. I see a bit of what my life used to be when I watch him.
Just trying to balance adult responsibilities, having to work a job to make ends meet, having two dogs that would be incredibly difficult to bring there with me, I don't know how I could feasibly make it work anymore.
I'm in the same situation, it sucks... I've been waiting 7 years for good times again, there is still hope

nice vid, jake now is definitely different he is not the same baller like back in the day talking to everyone always looking up, the randomness of it all and for me that what really catch me, i think he changed and is normal he got a girl, is older, financial stability and the excitement is not the same as when everything was knew, but that life, we grow things change, most important is really nice dude
