    Lyrics
An old cowboy went riding out
    One dark and windy day
    Upon a ridge he rested
As he went along his way
When all at once a mighty herd
Of red eyed cows he saw
    Plowin' through the ragged skies
    And up the cloudy draw
Their brands were still on fire
And their hooves were made of steel
Their horns were black and shiny
And their hot breath he could feel
A bolt of fear went through him
As they thundered through the sky
For he saw the riders coming hard
And he heard their mournful cry
    Yippie-yi-o
    Yippie-yi-yay
    Ghost riders in the sky
    Their faces gaunt
    Their eyes were blurred
Their shirts all soaked with sweat
He's riding hard to catch that herd
But he ain't caught 'em yet
'Cause they've got to ride forever
On that range up in the sky
    On horses snorting fire
As they ride on, hear their cry
As the riders loped on by him
He heard one call his name
'If you wanna save your soul
From hell a-riding on our range
Then, cowboy, change your ways today
Or with us you will ride
Trying to catch the devil's herd
    Across these endless skies
    Yippie-yi-o
    Yippie-yi-yay
    Ghost riders in the sky
    Ghost riders in the sky
    Ghost riders in the sky

They are from left to right, Jeff, Daryl, Geoff, Goff, and Jeoph. Jeff’s my fav. In the new video, oddly, Geoff isn’t in it. It just the four clones. ❤

Thanks for your reaction! Yes, his newest one released, "Unshaken", is a bit of a prequel to this one as he brings these 4 ghosts back to when they were still alive singing an old cowboy folk song. Geoff started with the 3 Geoff clones on his channel at first and eventually named them "Jeff", "Goff" and "Jeoph" (a humorous nod to the frequent misspellings and mispronunciations of his name) and has gradually developed their personalities. He added the newest one in the leather duster coat in this cover and named him Daryl just because he liked the name and thought he looked like a Daryl. Oddly, Geoff is not in his newest one, just his four clones.😄

Of all the bass singers out there, his timbre is my favorite. Glad you're enjoying him too!

He sounds like many others from that Area of the States. So I can't say it's anything special. Don't get me wrong, he's a good singer, but nothing about him or his voice is anything special.

My favorite is Daryl in the long coat. The ghosts are in Unshaken when they were still alive.
It usually only takes Geoff a few weeks to arrange a video from start to finish. Then he posts it his Patreon before it goes to UA-cam.
But this one took him m several months cause he was having a lot of technical issues with it. Then personal stuff came up. So he had to set it aside.
He started it in June 2 years ago. Had it filmed but editing was giving him a fit. So in July he set it aside and did "Rains of Castemere" from Game of Thrones instead in August. In September he picked it back up and posted it on his Patreon almost the end of September and UA-cam October 1st.
Because they're independent it doesn't take long for Voiceplay and Geoff to arrange their videos. Usually only 2 weeks to a month before it goes on Patreon and a week or two after for UA-cam. They've been doing it so long it's easy for them.

Geoff's pronunciation, smoothness and clarity (?) in any of his range is so precise, I think that is what really sets him apart. No matter how high or low he goes you can hear the subtleties. His hard work really shows.

This was his first attempt to do green screen on his solo channel. It took forever to download each one, make them semi-transparent so you could see the landscape behind/through them.
He is absolutely the best. Yes, there are some basses who can go lower and higher (a little bit), but no one can match the beauty, clarity and tonality of his voice!

@ilonadever8249 I'm always wondering why so few reactors seem to notice that "detail", the ghosts being translucent (?)... Well, as you said, semi-transparent. And they are in a colder, blue-ish light, plus the contacts, and all this makes them REALLY ghost-like. The attention to details is just awesome. 🙂

I'm not aure either, it just past me by, the only thing I can think of is most reactors including myself fall into love with the songs themselves so much so that we don't even notice the background and sometimes not even the work put into the videos themselves?

Geoff brings back the ghosts (before they died) in his latest, Unshaken! It is awesome!

His new video Unshaken it just the clones before they became The Ghost Riders In The Sky. Geoff let them do this unsupervised. I think Geoff knew clone Daryl would keep them in line. He is the scariest one in the brown duster and best hat. 😂

This was my first toe dip ( head on collision) into Geoff and VP . Never looked back... I'm always looking for the next thing they come up with and haven't been disappointed yet.

In his videos on How To Sing Los, he stresses that whilst the low notes are good to have in your box of tricks it's important to sing well first. And he does just that.

I totally agree, if you can't sing well then what's the point you know?
