I love that your bag for "girlie" things for that time of the month is a bunch of bikes, since it's a cycle *badum*
Our Sienna is 12 yrs old with 233,000 miles and still runs excellent. We have so many awesome memories with this van. Hubby and I agreed we will drive it until the wheels fall off. We are a family of 8 and it fits us comfortably.
This is the mom-est thing I've ever seen.
I used to drive a Lexus but when we got pregnant with baby #3 we got a Toyota Sienna and we absolutely love it! Kids are so happy watching their movies n love the extra space
So many great ideas! You are ready for anything!
This is by far one of the best car organization videos I've seen. Nice job!
I think the only thing you didn't have was the kitchen sink. J/k Very prepared and organized. Can't wait to see the winter stuff.
Amber Gilbertson Thanks!
Very organized and clean. I like the idea of the snack bin ( for the kids emergency) .
Looking forward to seeing the fall/winter car organization video.
~Jules
Julie H Thanks hun!
The carpool visor trick- genius!! Will definitely be utilizing that!
This made me miss my Mum van - I used to have a Toyota Voyager which had many of the same features. I love my prius but it doesn't have all those fun compartments :-).
Libby Withnall I'm enjoying it so much.
I just bought a Sienna Absolutely love ours. I have 3 kids and the space is so awesome.
Omg. I have to totally organize my car like that. Thanks Kim
This is awesome I have the exact same car and I have been looking for ideas to keep it organized with a 4 and 3 year old Thanks!
Can't wait to see your winter van organization!!
I definitely need to get some of those totes love the apron I have that one...
I am minivan lover, thank you for sharing
Well prepared mama!!!
Really helpful video! Thank you.
Love your organizing!!!!
Great ideas. I need to get organized as well.
Love the inner console idea!
Love your organiztion video
Wow a lot of hidden compartments...I love this inspired me to get mine more organized then just throwing bags of stuff in it :) Cant wait to see the next edition of this.
Amanda W Thanks Amanda!
This was great. Thanks!
I'm jealous of all the compartments you have!
I think you covered it all. :) thanks for sharing! It feels like just yesterday, I packed the car for summer...now it's already time back to school and fall preperations. I'm going to get started on our car tomorrow.
BusyBeingMom time fly's to fast!
This makes me want to clean out our family SUV this weekend!! Your van is so clean! :)
Great job Kimmy :)
I love this video great job 😨😆
You are one organized mamma! I keep an emergency bag in my glovebox. It has clippers, tweezers, nail file, Kleenex, hand sanitizer, hand lotion neosporin, Tylenol, benedryl, a comb for my daughter & a pick for me. I don't know how old your girls are, but I also keep a handful of sanitary pads in case my daughter needs them & she does t have any in her purse. FYI they can also be used in an emergency to cover a wound. You use it with the sticky side up & of course you would need to tape it in place, but it is great in an emergency when the wound requires something larger than a bandaid or 2. I may have forgotten an item or 2 but that's what I like to keep on hand.
Great ideas.
Love the idea of putting a ziplock with extra clothes in the sliding door. I will have to do the same!
Great ideas! I keep a snack tote in my car for when the kids start getting wiggly and need something to distract them on longer car rides so the candy in the middle compartment reminded me of that! Wonderful video.
Mommys Messymayhem Thank you! I remember we were stuck with no snacks.Wasn't good! LOL
Yay for Norwex!!
Damn u love tote bags😂😂😂
Thank you for the inspiration and motivation! Our van needs a once over. :-)
Alison Stewart Thanks for watching!
WOW! You have a lot of storage space in your mini van!
+Linda Walton Iove this van!
Thank u, so neat an not a lot of stuff like other hauls 🙂
Love those 31 Totes!
Damn, u r really organised
Great ideas - we have two small children and our family SUV seems to always collect "clutter"!
Boy you can store alot of stuff in your van. Thanks for sharing
Janiece Simpson Thanks Janiece!
Love the video...I was gonna say about the water bottles being in the car is not a good idea but some already commented. I do want to say that anything with nuts, & any meds can go bad, turn rancid, or make you sick...I keep a bag with snacks, water, & meds that I grab on my way out the door...love your videos, not trying to knock your video just info 😊
I enjoyed this video! I am a wannabe van owner...lol...I'll have one soon, I hope!
I just wanted to pop in because I am a car seat nut. Booster seats really shouldn't be used for a child under 5 years old... That is the minimum. Also, most kids need to remain in a booster until they are 10 or 12 years old. There's a tin of info out there you can check out if you are interested. :-)
I wish we had cars like this in Australia. So much storage!
Stacey Timms The Toyota Tarago is very similar, they definitely sell those in Australia. If you ask a dealer they would be able to direct you to other similar models or maybe even the same one, Toyota isn't an uncommon make
I will sometimes keep a plastic water bottle or two in the car or trunk - but not for drinking; not good to drink from a plastic bottle that's been in the car - it's to rinse off my hands if myself or kids have eaten something really sticky or if there is just some need to quickly spot clean something:) Of course I also have wipes and hand sanitizer but sometimes water comes in handy.
Part of me wants a van for the space and keeping the kids separate but i dont think I could drive something that big. Can you do an updated video soon? :)
I envy your organization girlfriend! I need to clean my car out so bad vacations and beach trips have taken a toll!
AshleyNicoleYT I just cleaned ours out. It got bad with our travels as well. Plus popcorn got everywhere from when we went to the Drive In movies.
Hi Kimmy, can you do a video like this for the winter season?
Those totes are genius.
Great video! What camera do you use?
I just love car organization videos! I'm so interested in your norwex. Do you ship to Canada?
SweetlyHome - Mandi Yes!! Go to my website link www.kimmyhughes.norwex.biz and you can order and have it ship to you !
Hi Kimmy. How are you enjoying your van?? We are in the market for a new truck and I can't even believe I'm saying this - but we are considering a van.
We're still so in love!!!
I know this was from quite a while ago but I'm in LOVE with our 14 YEAR OLD toyota sienna! still going strong.
The plastic chemicals will leach into the water in high heat. Just FYI
GodsSteph Thank you!
Have a good day ya,ll
Gracias
It is a nice video and a nicely organized car. I love it. But there is one thing I do not like. It is the water bottles underneath the front seat. You see, keeping plastic bottles in the car, especially in summer when it is really hot inside the car, can be pretty dangerous. Because the plastic bottles, when they are in hot environment, release in the water toxic stuff that can cause cancer. So please make sure you and your family do not drink the water because it is not safe. I know it is practical to keep it in the car and have it always ready. But it would be better for you to just have some bottles ready in the garage, next to the car, so that you would not forget to take it with you. And it would be stored in a cooler place...
Our solution for this is to use glass bottles. It is much safer. We still bring fresh water with us for daily use but for emergencies this way we have something.
I was also thought that keeping bottle(s) under the driver's seat is dangerous, since it can roll under your break pedal and make it impossible to stop the car when you need it to stop. Here they were under the passanger's seat (as far as I can tell), so I guess it's OK. On the other seat it wouldn't be a good idea.
what year is your van looks nice
Did the center console come with your van? If so how much was it?
Where did you get that really big umbrella from???
And last but not least...I need a new car 😂😍
What is The woopin for!
Hey what is Norwex?
what does a carpool number do?
what year is this?
Bottle waters left in the car the plastic leaks into the water I was told is not good ? Do you have any information on this ? I alway throw away the water bottle if it's left inside the car well I spill the water out on the grass ?
I do the same, it's not good to drink that water
That's exactly why she doesn't let the sun hit those bottles. If sun doesn't touch them its fine..
+gri03 the heat is the problem not direct sunlight - I live in Miami and in the summer the car can get really hot I believe that is the problem with leaving those bottles in the car isn't she in Utah doesn't it get hot there in the summer ?
You can get glass bottled water and this is a much safer option. It's still best to just take a refillable bottle for daily use but to have for emergencies a glass bottle works well.
Is the gray cloth to dry the car after a wash?
yes
Please explain the whole carpool thing??!!
Garrett Anderson I car pool kids to school.
She must drive super rough, I drive a mercury mountaineer (Fords cheaper version of the explorer) and I've never had groceries roll around and fall out
I want this van. What year is yours?
Julissa Dixon 2008. We're loving it
She's In Her Apron I bet. I want one so bad. I have a Ford Expedition right now.
+She's In Her Apron New subscriber here...binge watching, lol, super jealous of your Sienna! We have a 2014, and I really like yours better!
My Odyssey looks like a tornado went through it!:-/
Aurora Robey I understand that. Believe me!
😂😂😂
Don't put bottled water in your car.. use stainless steel or glass b/c when your vehicle heats up the BPA and other chemicals will contaminate your water and you'll basically be drinking chemical water.
how old are your children
what age do you start putting deodorant on kids? My 11 year old boy doesn't get smelly yet.
I want to my car clean but my driver and my family members are not clean and 👍 the storage of your car. and my cars name is Nissan caravan
She has a wepon? Is this even legal
+dalal dossery If you're still wondering in most, if not all, states in the U.S. it is legal because it's just a knife. Granted using it in a wrong way is illegal but carrying one is not.
Since when is illegal to carry a knife ??? You should read some laws and rights paperwork...
+gri03 it's illegal to carry a knife in the UK. It's also illegal to carry pepper spray here
I heard this and did a triple take. Yikes! You don't want a gun, in a car, unlocked with kids. Glad it is a knife.
Just wanted to make it 100ccomments
That weapon shouldnt be that easy accessible for (young) children. Why do you even need it? I will never understand americans on this topic.. I would feel so unsafe knowing anyone could be driving around and carrying a gun.
Lol! Its a knife not a gun! And you might as well feel unsafe all the time because there are thousands of concealed carry permit holders that have a weapon in their vehicle.
Step 1: Buy groceries Step 2: Take groceries home and unload. You are making it much more complicated than it needs to be!
What ??? how it's this complicated...??? Oohh someone was cranky when watched this video...
why do you have a lot of snacks for you and you kids in your mini van? are you bit scared of rats or mice coming in your mini van??
