- I do believe this is the best car organization video I've seen on UA-cam so far, WOW! The trays for eating, the trash cans for each kid, and the emergency stash in the back. Great video and thank you for sharing your amazing ideas and tips, Lorna! Also, this is the first video I've seen from you! I am definitely checking out more of your channel. #Blessings
Wow! You got just about everything! Only thing I can suggest is a set of stuff for worst case scenario. I keep jumper cables, a jug of coolant mix, quart of oil, a portable power box that can charge phones and jump my car. When we go on a trip my husband brings a socket set and some basic tools because ya never know. A flash light, a lighter, a corkscrew, a bike tire pump (they are capable of pumping a car tire), paper and marker in case I have to leave my vehicle or something and need to leave a note. I also keep a set of clothes for each of us since my kids are Lords of the Spills. Extra set of swimsuits and a beach umbrella, umbrella doubles as shade for anywhere you go, or if your car breaks down and its hot, everyone can stay under the umbrella and not a hot car. I also keep a sock with a large rock in it as a quick weapon, one near the drivers seat and one in the trunk, because, ya know, bad guys lol Stay safe y'all!
Omg your mommy car organization is the best I've seen in UA-cam. I've see many videos, but many aren't as good as yours. I love those trays for food and all your tips and hacks. I have my car very minimalist and organized, Ive used many of those tips for many years about compartment organization, first aid kit and other essential things and a few of those product's. I like to have a mini trash can with lid in my cup holder, a car toy organizer for my son to watch videos on his tablet, some trunk organization cady etc. I don't know if you carry some car emergency equipment, but it's very crucial to have jumper cables, extra gallon on water if car overheats, snacks, car tool box, car jack, large flashlight, emergency glowing sticks or reflectors, rags, gloves, hand cleaner, lug wrench, compression gauge and spare tire.
5 years later (2023) and this is so useful. Having watched most of Lorna Marie's recent videos, I can imagine how this might have changed if she were still driving this type of vehicle today. I love the doggy bag hack with the plastic cup. I've got those rolls of poop bags floating around my car and this system would make them easier to find and grab when needed.
Hello! Filipina here ☺️... I also have my 'go to' plastic bin in my car with clothes for my husband, my daughter and me -- in case we get to decide to go overnight in a spur of the moment or for emergencies (sets of clothes, underwears, towel, blanket, jackets and toiletries)... I love watching your video. Thanks for sharing.
I love your system! I was just looking for car decoration videos and came across your video. I don’t have children, but I would LOVE to be a mama someday. I will definitely be back to this video…God willing!
You are the most realest woman I have every come across💯wow I have 4 kids too so I know what you talking about. (I need a fork)😂🤣 wow just amazing! Love this organization.
Amazing organization vid! This is so helpful. I’d add black camping duct tape. You can fix shoes, torn bags, pretty much anything until you can get to a point where you can swap items or fit it for real. This has saved us many times! Also in the car emergency area I carry bungie cords (always handy - I’ve used to to secure my bumper after an accident before). And a camping pee funnel for the ladies in case you end up on the side of the road waiting for AAA or there’s a bad accident and one of the girls has to pee. Cheers!
Aaaahmazing! Love all the systems and hacks! Genuis! So it’s not something that I have yet but I would say an emergency roadside kit and a car battery charger/jumper cables. I can’t wait to start putting these systems together for my car organization.
This is my first time watching you and this video was sent most ALL my friends. I thought I was a prepper but this is BEYOND MY PREP. I just have grandchildren so Christmas will be FUN
I know this is old but if you don’t have it already, I would add roadside assistance and emergency items like reflective cones and vests in case your car broke down and everyone had to wait outside of the car for safety. Love this video!!
I just stumbled onto your channel from some other prepper’s site & I am blown away by your organizational skills! You have thought of everything +. I am 71 yrs young & just gathered my very first “bug out bag” thanks to your videos! Thank you SO much for all that you’ve shared. I just subscribed also…now I’m off to binge watch some of your other videos. 💜
You have a beautiful family. I washed and detailed the interior of my tahoe and was looking for ideas to maintain it clean. Thanks so much for the tips.
wow wow wow! you are such a cool mom. this got me thinking on so much I gotta get in my recently purchased mini van for my kids. better be prepared with all the essentials than not. excellent video. big thumbs up! God bless your family
This video gave me so many ideas! I thought I had everything, but you really have all the bases covered! I have a coupon organizer for restaurants and stores for when we are out.
You are right about the three different kinds of wipes. They have done studies on our steering wheels and key/chains. They are two of the dirtiest things that we touch. Only a few extra things to add (extra face masks, fire extinguisher, jumper cables, flashlight, flairs, gas can, tools suitable for your make and model of vehicle, and extra food). If you have to become momma bear during these crazy times some weapons (taser/pepper spray/ . . . ). You would keep the weapons where the children could not access them. Seriously, one of the best videos for organizing a car when you have children. We can all tell you are a fantastic momma bear and your husband is very blessed to have you for his wife. Stay safe and I wish you and your family many blessings during these challenging times.
Thank you so much for the suggestions Jeanette! This is actually one of my other videos I actually have a truck now. We definitely have lots of weapons facemask and a fire extinguisher. I feel like my car is definitely always evolving and changing with the things that I add and remove. Hope you’re doing well
I'm hooked on your videos as they are some of the best on UA-cam and I'm getting so many great ideas from you. Since I can't buy all the things I want right now I've added them to my Amazon wishlist so I don't forget all the items I want that you've shown. I created a public bathroom emergency kit inspired by you and made one for my daughters and myself. Was tired of going to a public restroom with no paper or a way to clean my hands. I bought these small vinyl zipper pouches at Dollar tree (the ones that said love or peace on them) and put fem wipes, lysol wipes, tissue, sanitizer, poo spray, tampons, etc inside and I used a key ring on zipper and attached a caribeaner to that so it can be hooked to something or just sit in your lap. Now I need to create a container of some sort so when I have my grandkids with me in the car I will have everything I need. They range from 3 years to 9 years old. Then when they are not with me I can take the stuff out of my car. Any suggestions? I can't decide on a container or a caddy or ? I would love your ideas on this. I have a hard time keeping them entertained while driving them to my house as we live 2 hours apart so it's a long drive to my house and they start arguing and get bored, thirsty, hungry, someone stared at the other one and then they start arguing, or someone has one and I don't. Also, My daughters loved the emergency bag I made and I've told my daughters to watch your videos.
I definitely suggest a caddy for the stuff in the car. Specially if it’s stuff you need to access regularly. I feel like things get lost at the bottom of a bag. The Caddy is great because you can see everything and grab it easily. Thank you so much for the kind words and I’m so happy that I’ve inspired you. I appreciate your sweet comment!!
You are well prepared! Nice video. I would also suggest bungee cords for your car, nylon rope and clothespins. Not only for drying clothes, but clothespins also keep chip bags closed.
One item I can think of that I keep that I did not see in your video is a flashlight and a pair of scissors. When my kids got older and started staying over at friend's randomly, I kept spare toothbrushes and changes of clothes in my van. That way when they were invited over to a friend's, they were ready for fun.
Impressive!! New subscriber and I love organizing too!! Some people judge me like it's odd that I like to organize and give everything a "home" so to see others like you who appreciate an organized and tidy system, makes me feel like I'm not alone. You're adorable and I'm binge watching your videos now!! Happy Mothers Day🌸
I am here with you Melissa my fellow organizing friend! I totally understand. People would make fun of me for getting excited about a good container LOL. So happy you found my channel so you can be yourself with us! Thank you so much! 😘
WOW! You blew me away! By far this is my favorite car organization video. I NEED to watch all your other videos. Haven’t been this excited to subscribe, ever. Lol.
You rock! I have a Yukon XL and EVERYTHING you done in the back of your truck I've been wanting to do. I had/have the bins for the back but they seem like they take up too much space. Awesome idea with what you store in the flat storage area in the back. We have mostly car stuff but the water is a VERY good idea. I really liked the video. I'll have to binge on your channel to get some more GREAT ideas!!!!
Wow... I’m truly impressed!! I don’t even have kids. I love Mom’s like you. I’m sure it takes time to get your Mom skills on point but you should teach a new Mom class. Go Lorna
Thank you for showing all those moms with kids out there that you can maintain cleanliness in your car with kids! Too many mobile trash cans (cars full of trash) on the road. Nice Job!!
Awwww thank you Nikki! I try but its dirty right now lol. These kids! I don’t know what to do with them. Thanks for watching and leaving such a sweet comment! 😘
You were so helpful when it comes to organizing because I’m so unorganized and trying to get it together. I will most definitely be purchasing some of the items😘
Okay those trays are GENIUS!!!!! how did I not know about this! For years my kids have been making a mess when they eat! Will be ordering these ASAP! Thank you!
Amazon sells packing tape that you can rip with your hands. You don’t need scissors. I also mail back items to Amazon and find the tape to be so handy. Thought I would share since I just found out about this tape this year. Really liked your organizing car video. Your such a good Mom. You thought of everything. Good job.....
I have the same vacuum from Amazon! I like to keep my car tidy too. I always have to keep a rain poncho, umbrella, extra water and I recently found these pill sized towels to keep in the car. Also, soap sheets to wash my hands when needed.
That’s awesome!! That’s how I wanna organize my suv especially with baby number 3 coming march 2022 it’ll be nice to have everything clean an ready to go without constantly questioning do I have everything lol cause we can’t forget anything especially with 3 kids lol
Wow 🤩 this was so amazing I just subscribed 🤗. I especially loved the snack baskets, doggie bags in the coffee cup and the back set organisers with trays. Thank you for sharing. Best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺
Since the part in the drivers door is empty you could keep one of those multi use tools in case of an accident, there are ones that are 5+ in one it cuts the seatbelt, and breaks windows, in case of an accident you can save yourself and your children. And a portable charger, flashlight etc.
Thank you so much for the suggestion I’m actually have those in my Amazon cart! We just got a new truck so we will be transferring everything to that very soon. 😘
I'm a first time mommy and I'm a step mom to a 5 and 10 yr old. You just gave some ideas on what to do so car rides are way easier for me to handle and ways to keep the car clean as possible
I love getting comments like this! It makes me so happy. Im so glad this video helped you! Just looking things up shows me what a good mommy you are! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I found your channel a few months ago & this was the video that pushed me to subscribe to your channel. I’m thrilled to have found someone, like me, who obviously enjoys being organized & prepared for anything. 🚙 I look forward to improving my organization & preparation from your suggestions/ideas!! ♥️
I can’t leave any bags in the car :/ they would break the window real fast to see what’s in that bag. I live in Sweden not sure if this is a problem for you guys. I would need to store things out of sight to avoid someone breaking in..
Love the kids trays! What you had to ask for a diaper? You’re so organized, who knew you’d forget anything! I keep an extra pair of sunglasses, Tylenol, and an extra charger cord
Girl the eating baskets... mommy hack of the year.
Awwwww thank you so much Sammie 😘
Totally agree
I’m glad I watched the video just for that one tip! That would make it so much easier to pass food to my twins in the car
Omg the baskets. 🤣 that’s great
BOYFRIEND hack...
3 years later I still think this is the best car organization video ❤
- I do believe this is the best car organization video I've seen on UA-cam so far, WOW! The trays for eating, the trash cans for each kid, and the emergency stash in the back. Great video and thank you for sharing your amazing ideas and tips, Lorna!

I love your system! This is like zombie apocalypse ready! 😂 😊
Im ready! Lol thanks for watching and commenting!
@Anna Marie you made me laugh so hard! But seriously!!

My heart exploded when your toddler clapped for his food and blew on his fries! 😍😍 really enjoying your channel and videos! Over packers unite! 🤗
Thank you so much Jennifer! So glad you’re enjoying the videos!
We over packers get such a bad rap!! But yet when things go wrong, who do they turn to? Us!
Girl you’re my queen. I love organization. I’m slowly going through all your videos and writing down stuff. I’m going to become a mini you.
Awwwww I love it! So glad you’re enjoying the video friend 😘
My kids are grown but I love watching your videos on organization and prepper stuff
Love it! I have a seatbelt cutter and tool to break car windows in case of an emergency.
I’m 25 and a mom of 2 I have literally been taking notes on all your organization videos! Thank God for you and your channel!!
This is LIFE CHANGING! I can’t even finish this video before heading to amazon for those food trays. LAWD! You are my new favorite person! Thank you!
This is the most realistic and helpful car organization video I've ever seen

So glad you enjoyed it!
Car coasters (for the cup holders) are my next thing. I love this.
I know this is old but if you don’t have it already, I would add roadside assistance and emergency items like reflective cones and vests in case your car broke down and everyone had to wait outside of the car for safety. Love this video!!
Love little trash cans in back! I find so many little wrappers
I can’t tell you how fast I just subscribed lol I just keep saying why didn’t I think of that!? Great video

Just found your channel! Love how organized you are. Great video
The eating baskets are such a good idea
You are right about the three different kinds of wipes. They have done studies on our steering wheels and key/chains. They are two of the dirtiest things that we touch. Only a few extra things to add (extra face masks, fire extinguisher, jumper cables, flashlight, flairs, gas can, tools suitable for your make and model of vehicle, and extra food). I feel like my car is definitely always evolving and changing with the things that I add and remove. Hope you’re doing well
Kudo's!! one of the best organization video's I have ever seen. Thanks for lots of ideas even though all my kiddo's are grown

You are well prepared! Nice video. I would also suggest bungee cords for your car, nylon rope and clothespins. Not only for drying clothes, but clothespins also keep chip bags closed.
Thank you so much Jean! Those are all great suggestions. Thanks fir watching and commenting!

GIRLLLLLLL....you have some great ideas in this video! I wish I'd have known half these when my kids were little!! GREAT VIDEO!.
Thank you so much! I loved making this video. Thanks for watching and commenting 😊
For the spare water bottles you should have glass ones to avoid the water being contamination from the plastic
Thanks for the suggestion Chloe
I found your channel a few months ago & this was the video that pushed me to subscribe to your channel. I’m thrilled to have found someone, like me, who obviously enjoys being organized & prepared for anything. 🚙 I look forward to improving my organization & preparation from your suggestions/ideas!! ♥️
So happy to hear that Amanda! I’m glad you’re enjoying the channel! 😘
What cute kids you have. Such lovely beings
Thank you Renee! Lol. And thank you for sharing!
I love it. Where did you get secret car compartment divider
