I bought a book several years ago, and it had one idea that I kept. It said the bathrooms are for cleaning yourself. You should have a separate area for beautifying yourself. Meaning don’t keep your lotions, make up, hair brushes, anything you used to beautify yourself belongs in another area of the house. I made myself a little corner by my bed and that is my beautifying spot. Good lighting and all my gear is all I need. It also frees up the bathroom if you have roommates or kids that need it. Put your make up on somewhere else instead of tying up the bathroom. Thank God I live alone, but I can see where if you had multiple people all needing to get into the bathroom at the same time, this is very helpful.

Can't stand all those 200 shampoos and hair masks and shower gels and body lotions. The older I get, the less things I want polluting the rooms🤷🏼♀️👵🏻 (too much work!)
I grew up with 5 people sharing one bathroom! We each had an allotted time slot for its use. When I became a teen I made a vanity table out of my mom’s old sewing machine table and that’s where I did my hair and makeup, in my bedroom. Not one of my sisters nor mother ever did their hair or makeup in the bathroom! And now, after 50 years of marriage, I still have a vanity dresser in my bedroom!

Toilet is a place of germs. Its not a storage place. Infact you should have a separate place for bathing and to poop. Please read the researches on this. There should be nothing stored in a toilet except the tissues, handwash toilet brush and a cleaning supplies. I don't know when people will understand this.
When people have enough money to buy a house with a water closet. Most people have small to medium sized bathrooms depending on when the home was built. 😐
Great attempt but most of these ideas are so tacky. Instead of trying to make more space to clutter our lives how about getting rid of some of those things we don’t ever use.
Adding another rod inside the shower with all that weight hanging off of it is not very smart. That rod can slide and fall easily and smash someone’s head or foot
