Nice little test ride on the new bike. Puzzled about the power difference compared to the old bike though. Mine doesn't have the smart system just the Purion display so can't really help I'm afraid.
hey simon ye its strange on the smart system tour + seems to be like etmb as is helping you. were as tour on the 625 just had power this one tells you when to change gear lol like a car maybe that dont help
I have same,but in liquid red,the wheels are awful so i had decent ones built,replace the too cap as its olastic and crap,also the frame charge point cover falls off,undo the bolt and put a small washer on it,you can get a neoprene battery and frame cover for a tenner instead of using tape,and put the kiox screen over the stem as its not in a good place
If you want to adjust power,go into the app and you can adjust the assistance you get in different modes 👍
hey pete ye its the same as my old one with the 625 battery my battery caps tacked down i never charge my bike with the battery in . battery is out of the bike till i ride next. i do no the rear wheel hub is crap on my 2022 model it was sliping so i replaced the iner hub . il be doing the same as my last one on the ring il be puting back on a 36 steel with a spider so cheeper to replace when the teeth slim down...
Many youtubers I have seen ride in turbo mode almost always. It is interesting you prefer eco mode. When I'm riding with friends I usually use tour+, when I'm alone emtb. Just to save some time and ride more km over the winter.
hey milan... eco and tour 4 me iv been rideing 35 years iv robot legs lots of power henc why i have bar ends on my bike. only resen im on ebikes now is i have a bad back from a car crash so it takes of the pressure of my back.
@@emtbAdventures Got you. I'm a bit on a havier side so I like nice assistance. When I loose some weight probably I will reduce it, but for now I'm enjoying draining 750 w battery.
@@MrGervasius dont forget dont run the battery empty its not good for the battery.. im needing to drop a cpl of pounds im at 13 stone so id be happy to get to 12.. + battery will last longer the lighter you are... hope your enjoying the rides.. ebikes make it so you can go to places a normal bike cant take you..
hi my friend. What is your opinion about the Sram DB8?. i usa magura's mt5 on my bikes. but i bought a cube with those brakes. (Still waiting for her to arrive :) )
hi mate..... yeeeeeeeeeee.. first time having them for me as well... seems to work ok im not saying it has mega power for stopping. seems damp to me like they need bleeding... im trying new pads in this week to see if its just the pads that are crap...
@@emtbAdventures but you think the magura mt5 are more powerfull?
Try to install sram hs2 rotors. I also bought them for my new bike to work with db8
@@Cobretti_GTI i had the magura on my 2022 140p they was better plus the pads was magnetic so less pain changeing them over....
got yo say the disk's are a let down no meat on that atall... only advantge with them is less chance of worpping....

my 140 was the last one from were i got this from. i got it from cycle revolution could always take a look there..
@@emtbAdventures Thanks.. i will check them out.. struggling to find any 2023 bikes both Cube and Giant.. Giant are holding back 23's because they have so many 22's... the biggest difference between 22's and 23's is cable routing at the headstock... it's a nice clean touch.
@@DJCJ999 it is a nice touch.. and to get better shox all round with a 150 on the front . i had the 2022 140 with the 625. and this new one feels so much more kumfy everything just works so much better and now with the 750 smart system as well... and only 600 pounds more i cant complane..
You got lucky.. there’s none in stock anywhere.. may just have to go for a 140 2022 model as it’s the only be I can find.
@@DJCJ999 the 140 with the 625 batter is a fast bike has some right power i went allover on mine... 90% of my vids are on the 625 . i replaced the lcd and put on the normal kiox just so i could map my koomot maps on it... to be fair i only upgraded to the 750 so i can do more miles.
Bar ends?
yes bar ends i ride on them all the time on roads climbing. + they have saved me a cpl of times. when crashing out.. they avoid my lcd and leavers breaking when crashing..them bar ends are about 20 years old. even had barends when i was a pro rider many years ago

M.... im 5.9 and 31 leg perfect my last cube and my hiabike was M as well.
