My Corso is four years old. He weighs 168. He is huge and I have to get him on a diet quick. I have three sons who constantly feed him.
I found myself smiling through this whole video. He’s beautiful and so well behaved.

Our female corso was 175 on the vets scales and not fat at all, very athletic girl. But she was definitely an anomaly. We miss her a ton, great girl.

@@victorpena3129 Jaguars are no slouch I can say that much. 1500 PSI bite force, extremely sharp claws, skilled climbers, and elite swimmers. Only big cat native to the Americas too!

My female Boerboel would have her way with him. She's extremely muscular for a female and weighs 135 pounds. Cane Corso's are beautiful and loyal, and are very friendly with people.

I have a 3 year old female cane Corso the literal exact same brindle pattern amazing. Looks like the big brother if mine .

I have a 1 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback and I do this every weekend at markets and in town, it’s great for getting them comfortable around loads of people… great job, keep it up 👍

My friends Cane Corso is as big as him on camera but in real life. That shows how big Bronx is cause he already looks like a big dog on camera but if we were to see him in real life than that dog would have been gigantic.

I imported him from Canada, but the breeder I bought him from imported him from Italy…
They try to add him to their pack and something didn’t go right and they ended up selling him to me.
I was next in line to buy a puppy from them when Miles came up, and I jumped at the chance to have a purebred Italian Mastiff…
Got a buddie with one that weighs over 200 pounds .
Mine was well over 200 at one point. He’s older and lighter now.

That dog is as big as the war dogs used hundreds of years ago.

@@AmericanStandardK9 There is a wide variety but still mostly the flock guardians and protection breeds dominate as most people keep dogs for property & family protection. The German Shepherd is the most common , but there are a lot of Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Ridgebacks, Jack Russels, Boerboels, Bull Mastiffs and Belgian Shepherds..However there are more exotic breeds like Cane Corso, Presa Canario, Malamutes, Spitz, Chow Chows, St.Bernards coming in more and more now. I have a Rottweiler, Boerboel, GSD and Ovcharcka-Corso mix. They have great temperament and well socialised, but thats because this is a passion. The reason I really enjoy your video's is because the information is practical and its just all about practice over and over again. Guardian and flock breeds are amazing - but only if those who get them really put in the time and dont do it on a whim.

Bronx has got to be the most beautiful Cane Corso I have ever seen. You can tell his presence truly changes the atmosphere since he is such a different animal/beast that you only see once in a blue moon. Was he imported from Italy the US or born here in the states? I'm waiting on the day till I move out until my girlfriend and I also get a brindle Cane Corso. Till then, watching all your training vids. Thank you!

My Cane Corso, also brindle, was 172 pounds at his peak. His black brother was 195 pounds.
I have a Female Cane Corso crossed with a Registered English Mastiff and she is as big as your dog, same pattern, same face, same body, same size or bigger. She is an enormous overgrown monster Cane Corso. She can breed if your interested, or ask the breeder if interested. I live in Canada.

We take our Corso out to the local bars here in Florida regularly. They are always a big hit. He's a big dog, but not the biggest by any means. As long as he is functional, that's the important thing.
167lbs is pretty massive and he's still growing a bit more we'll see where he ends up

I have 160 lb female that's almost 3 now. And she's not fat.
I have a 4 month old female pup, she is 46 lbs, both her parents are in the 120-130 range. I am hoping she gets close to her parents size. According to the chart I found online she is right where she should be but was wondering if she is where you think she should be based off your experience with the breed?

There is a breeder in NJ, producing Cane Corso around 170 lbs, and they are athletic, still dawafted by my Central Asian and North Caucasus Volkodav. My males play my neighbors female Cane Corso, and another neighbor female Bully XL, but I would not advise introducing their male to my males, that probably would end in a physical confrontation that would not end well for the poor Cane Corso. You can not expect a man made breed to compete against an ancient land race breed, Modern Cane Corso are beautiful dogs, but they are a dog, whereas these ancient land race breeds are something very different, so much more intelligent, so much more powerful and athletic, and their canines are humongous.

@@chrisvand2678 In 1996 I visited Turkey, was introduced by Turkish friends to a shepherd in the Sivas-Kangal region of Turkey, after visiting by invite the national Kangal Kennels. I slept in the filed and with this shepherd for 10 days, and was accepted by all his dogs, to the shepherds great surprise. I was sold a wonderful specimen male puppy which I brought back to the USA, having receiving the approval of the Turkish government to remove a Kangal from Turkey, and he matured into a magnificent specimen, 34.5 inches at the withers, over 170 lbs.

Mine was 190. Even at 11 he was 170 when I had to put him down. He big but not the biggest.
My boy was the same bigger head, beautiful though.
Seen several Cane Corso's at a 160+ lbs so I doubt he is the biggest in the world. I deal mostly with Central Asian Shepherds.

Miles turned a year old January 29 2024, he is now 28 inches and 137 pounds..
They’re telling me Miles is bigger than his father when his father was a year old..
His father was 28 1/2 inches and he weighs 169.
His mother is 26 inches and she weighs 149 pounds.

If I ran across you on the street and you came up to me and said hey how much does your dog weigh and I told you how much he weighed would you ask for proof? Would you call me a liar to my face? No because you would get slapped in the mouth. But since you brought it up why don't you go ahead and check out the other videos I have where I weigh a kind of Corso and a Rottweiler and the corso weighs 120 lb. Bronx is a monster compared to that corso that I weighed you can see both corsos on the same video together. I can't wait them because I don't have a scale that can carry his and my weight together without breaking my back or breaking the scale and I don't feel like taking him to a vet to put him on a scale just to appease you. If you have a corso that is over 120-130 then you definitely got a mixed mastiff
Depends on the gene pool. Same with all breeds. Also what shape the dog is in. One of my Rotts was 125 but very muscled as he swam every day. Sometimes 3-4 times a day.
