Dafuq??? That driver was absolutely OK. If that counts as an "incident" in your life then you must really be sheltered. Drop your entitlement and spend your time more profitably rather than trying to find offence in everything!
@@TheNordog . 55 years old, spent years covering large swathes of the UK for work, driving in excess of 40,000 business miles per year. Many years riding sports motorbikes on the road and on tracks. Clean licence (never had points), no accidents. Yeah, terrible driver (not). You strike me as someone who is looking for ways to be offended. Spent that time and energy in some advanced training and improve your obs. And drop the wounded pride.
@@Cheradanine My pall in front or me might have been injured or dead or perhaps a faster younger ride coming up from Salisbury, if in a hurry why not use the A 36 main road like I used to in 40-ton trucks.
This was on a narrow lane approaching double-blind bends, I know the road very well, last year a car driver was passing us as a car came head on and both had to do an emergency stop same place.
I was trying to save his/her no-claims bonus from plunging to zero by warning the driver that it is a very dodgy set of narrow bends, as you lot were not there at that time you have only my video form an opinion.
@@Humanity101-zp4sq Do you lot know the road personally? I doubt it. Hundreds of cyclists use this route from Salisbury to Warminster (both ways) most weekends most are very fast young fit racers, some are just young family riders to the cafe or the lakes some are very old, I myself have done this route for well over ten years at speed, with a dog trailer and still go as fast as I can, but some drivers just can't be bothered to slow down or use the A36 not a mile away, why because it can be dangerous to drive on with heavy trucks and speeding motorbikes and sports cars capable of breaking the speed limits of 30,40,50 and the 60mph limits.
To call this "nearly caused several accidents", or even an "incident" is pretty far fetched. Guy was impatient when he first tried to overtake you, yes, but after that he was ok.
It is a narrow lane and gets even more narrow with an S-bend, we Had two opposing cars nearly head-on beside us, a few weeks before this as we cycled in the opposite direction.
I regularly cycle and can't see anything wrong here.
what is the point of this?

You must be a terrible driver I hope you are not near me let alone in the UK

@@TheNordog You must be a terrible cyclist if you couldn't control your cycle in that environment.
@@TheNordog You are insane
Really? I had much worse just an hour ago with a work van overtaking me on a blind corner. Cant really see anything massively amiss here?

Nothing wrong here apart from an arrogant entitled muppet on a bike.. The only possible misuse is the runner NOT facing on coming traffic
What incident???.........you're in cloud cuckoo land....
Were you in the car then?
@@TheNordog I wasn't, but like all the other comments I really don't see much wrong from the car driver. Please ride safe.
I know the road you don't.
I thought everyone behaved impeccably. Shame about the attention seeking

Well that was insanely disappointing.
Perhaps the cyclist is referring to the point where he/she is in the middle of the road on a corner.....?
Goodbye has an "e"
cyclists should read the highway code aswell
Being a bit precious mate.

You guys are sooks. What was wrong here?
WTF What incident ? What near accident ? Vivid and inaccurate imagination !
This type of video is why people think cyclists are self obsessed tosspots! A total non event.
