Thane (also known as Thana), the official name until 1996) is a metropolitan city in Maharashtra, India. ancient name of Thane was Shree-Sthanak.It is situated in the north-eastern portion of the Salsette Island. Thane city coincides entirely within Thane taluka, one of the seven talukas of Thane district; also, it is the headquarter of the namesake district. With a population of 1,841,488 distributed over a land area of about 147 square kilometres (57 sq mi), Thane city is the 15th most populated city in India with a population of 1,890,000 according to the 2011 census.
Located on the north-western side of the state of Maharashtra, the city is an immediate neighbour of Mumbai city and a part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

The road conditions in Thane city especially, Station road, Majiwada, Kapurbavdi, and Patlipada need to be improved a lot. There are a lot of potholes in these areas. Secondly, the green cover of the city has decreased a lot due to urban projects at Ghodbunder road, so tree plantation programs are needed too.

Thane needs massive upgradation as well as atleast 2 business districts between thane Bhiwandi and somewhere along ghodbunder road.........
Situation is so bad due to encroachment, illegal buildings, migration, traffic that Nagpur seems like a better option than Thane.

MMRDA should also release a tender and carry out civil work of Metro Line 10 which is from Mira Road to Gaimukh Thane via Wadala and atleast start non labour activities such as soil testing and other stuff work should implement soon to avoid future delay & opportunities

Metro has started, line 4 is 50% done. Tunnel is confirmed on ground work not started. The internal tram is in planning
Metro line 5 is also started and work in full swing
Only metro is being built for now
It will be great if all of these works are completed on time.

Thane has become over crowded with towers, over bridges, flyover, sky walk bcoz of which open wide space is not visible. Conjusted market become more narrow as bridges taken places it results in contamination. Need more spacious place for sidewalk, walking people, open view for eyes. Now sky is hidden behind buildings, can't seat anywhere if you are exhausted while travelling. Lakes are not cleaned like rayaldevi talao and CP Talao. Pls do something in all these areas..

If they do nothing and only repair the Roads and drainage system here permanently it will be more than enough for the Thanekars.

Thane stn jo ek Trans- Harbour aur ek Semi Junction bhi hai waha passenger load bohot jada hai.. Load reduce karne ke liye Kopri Stn ban sakta hai (hopefully 🤞) hai.
Kopri stn ban gaya agar to jo crowd Godhbandar rd ka hai wo udar bhi utar sakta hai. Connectivity btw Thane stn and Godhbandar rd is v.poor. (However Kopri Stn ban ne ke liye abhi aur 25 yrs lag sakte hai (this is my own speculation 😄).

Improvement of the roads is of essence. Soil testing, viability of the projects, impact on and logical rehabilitation of the residents affected, apprehension and legal plugging of loopholes, etc but are a few necessities for any project to be given a green signal

What is needed to do is first reconstruct the station area. I'm no expert what I feel its badly made. Buildings, Station and other transport are so close that there is always mess of people all around. Second what we need is a strong connection of metro. Finally to improve roads and plant trees.

Till the point shiv sena is in power in Mumbai region all these infrastructure projects will not come true. This political party has no vision and only knows how to fill their own coffers and play petty politics. That's why sensible people are shifting base to other Indian cities for a better life.

Actually i used to upload in 1080p from beginning however but many of source videos i get are in lower resolution and on UA-cam you can see how many people Watch your video in each resolution which was 480p at 70%. Also 1080p takes a really long time to render so I've been uploading 720p since last 15 videos or so

@@pulkitsinghal9569 you should first get tested. Have you seen how much Ghodbunder road gets congested during peak hours. This Thane-Borivali twin tunnel will reduce traffic on ghodbunder road and also it will cut travell time from 1 hr to 15min thus reducing almost more than 3 lakhs tonnes of carbon emissions anually.
