Hey y'all, we're the Fleeners-a couple in the DFW
area dedicated to full-time eBay reselling. If you have any questions, ask away in the comment section below! Hope you enjoy and if so, don't forget to like and SUBSCRIBE!!!
Do ya'll have a specific amount of items that you are trying to list daily?? To stay consistent? how many do you list on average?
Yes we list 32 a day including weekends!
@@kandmresell Bro this channel is legit! Great work! I was wondering if you had any tips for me because the thrift stores in my area are not very good
Thanks brotha! I know a couple of people who don’t have good stores by them so they drive 2-3 hours each way to hit stores. The only thing you can really do is travel to the inventory or change categories to something you are able to get in your area wether that’s clothing, electronics, or even furniture like couches on FB to flip back on FB!
Thanks for giving a straight answer! Pretty sure you're the first in the 8 years I've been watching
I either get ignored or they beat around the bush!
No problem! The goal of the channel is to be authentic as possible while helping y’all with your businesses!
Great video learned a lot. The big pony with the 3 might have gone for little bit more if you put it under rugby. Still great sale, just nice keyword when its a rugby shirt. To each their own though you definitely doing better than I am.
Thanks for watchin!
Great video! It’s always interesting to see what other resellers sell!
Glad you enjoyed!
😎 Promo SM
I watched this a couple weeks ago and made my first ever trip to a thrift store today to feel it out, it's a decent sized place and I saw a ton of blazers in different styles & sizes, remembered what you said in this, do you think I should just roll the dice and pick some up if they seem to sell often ?
I probably wouldn’t roll the dice on blazers or anything. You should search up sell-through rate and see how to calculate it (if you don’t know how to). Plenty of other UA-camrs have videos on it and I’ll be releasing one soon as well. But, you’ll have to run comps on them and see how good certain ones are. Blazers honestly are the slowest selling men’s category but they are usually cheap to buy and expensive to sell if you buy the correct brands. Never just roll the dice and just see how it works though in this business. Always buy things with confidence from your market research that the item your buying will sell. Otherwise you’ll just end up spending money on inventory that will never end up selling and you don’t want that!
@@kandmresell Ok Thanks, that’s a pretty simple calculation to follow if I did it right - Not sure if I could do it on every brand as so many of them are random name brands so I might just look at different categories
1. What is the reasoning behind your pricing ($28.46 vs $28 or $29) and you have an amazing knowledge of STR for items. How do you track that info? Do you input it in a spreadsheet? Thanks!
I just sort of picked numbers I thought looked more appealing a while back so everything we list typically ends in .87 or .86 (I do .87 my wife kendall does .86). The first two numbers will usually be priced based on comps on the mid to higher range. We don’t mind listing things on the higher side because we decrease every listings price every month it sits.
As for STR. We just set aside time to do research and look things up when we don’t know what they are. I’ve been doing this business for coming up on 4 years so the time I’ve been in it helps a ton with building brand knowledge. I can confidently say 1-2 years ago I was no where near this knowledge because I didn’t do a whole lot of research back then!
Do you think promotions are worth it?
I think it’s worth experimenting with for at least 2 weeks if you have the wiggle room in your margin to. You gotta experiment with everything to see what works best for your business!
Just found your channel. Thanks for the clothing & shoe education!
No problem!
❤❤❤
Thanks!
These are my fav kind of videos, thanks for sharing your journey with us!
Also, what size inventory bags do you guys use to store your shoes?
Thanks! We use to use 13x15, which the link to the exact one is in the desc. But now we just store them in bins which you can see in our inventory video!
I price my untuckits at 19.99 an they move fairly quickly still. Maybe just price at 20
Yeah they still move for us! Just not like they use to us all! Thanks for the advice!
Hi 👋 how many do you list per day? Is that 7 days a week? Thx!
32 a day currently so 224 a week!
@@kandmresell thanks! I’ve got ways to go ☺️
Slow and steady wins the race!
Thanks for sharing❤
Thanks for watching!
Great profits👍🏻
Thanks! And thanks for watching!
Great update enjoy your vaca!
Thanks! Been good so far!
just curious where you source all of these great items?
Local thrift stores and DFW!
@kandmresell I'm in DFW too. Obviously, I'm going too late. I guess I need to call around and find out the best days/times.
Every store is different here. You just have to figure out the best days and times to go through repetition. Anytime you ask an employee or manager, all they will say is we restock daily. Also theres just a ton of competition here in general so there’s that as well!
@@kandmresell thanks for revealing some of the real secrets, bro!
Great u got real good photos
Thanks! Video coming soon on how I take them!
