I'm looking forward to this series. Thanks for sharing! It's alarming to me that you do not know your cost per item. How do you determine if it was a good pick up / profitable item? Would you source that item again?
We know our limit on how much we spend for a particular item but we don’t track or memorize the exact cost for each item. Ex: something that we sell for $25 all in, we know we can’t spend more than $8 on the item as we try to make $10 profit each item at a minimum. We do cash method of accounting for time sake.

Great Stuff, Goodwill is cheap in Texas, Calif SS polo 5.99 ls shirt 6.99 jeans/ pants 9.99 Jacket 12.99. You have to be very selective.
Here it’s 8.99 short sleeve, 9.99 long sleeve, 16.99 blazer, 16.99+ jackets, 10.99+ jeans & pants. We just have to wait until things are half off to buy them leading to the cheaper prices we pay.

Doesn't it hurt your back to bend over the slanted board to arrange clothes to take pictures?
There’s no bending involved. I made a video about it. Designed the booth to be able to stand straight up without any bending.
Is it true that the older the store, the more one can charge?
I don’t believe so. I think quality photos, accurate descriptions, accurate measurements, and having returns on all give the buyer more confidence in their purchase thus leading them to purchase at higher ask prices. Yes reviews can help, but they are not required in getting top dollar for items imo.
