This is my first video uploaded in 4k, did you enjoy the extra sharp resolution??? If you enjoyed it, pls consider doing me a favour: share it on your Facebook or twitter or any other online groups you might be part of that might enjoy it 😊
Your content is so great Shaun.😊 Love the standing stones. How cool are they. All the best to you from Michigan.
Seriously stunning and so professional. Well done, and I haven't watched it all yet, but I know it's going to be great. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🇦🇺
Yes I did
My tv is still 1080p lol
Loved it, absolutely stunning! Thank you for the trip to such a fascinating place. I know I'll never get to actually go so I really enjoyed this. 💖
Love watching your videos of Scotland. The people of the world have spoken: We Want More!
Andre Legris Agreed!!
I'm going to be moving to scotland in the new year, so yes please.
Thank you, for taking me places I will never get to see. Your photography is stunning, and that day was phenomenal... so much blue sky, and blue ocean. What a beautiful place.
You mentioned that this video isn’t one that ppl normally would click on...this is what I love to see! It’s gorgeous footage with solid information. I can’t believe you got to touch those stones...you have to think how many people, so many many years ago, have also touched them...Love it! Keep it up!
Thank you so much Liz so glad you like it. Yeah these kinda travel videos less people klick on for some reason... and even this video views are way lower than normal. But I don’t mind as I liked making it and I’m happy those who watched it enjoyed 😊😊😊
I'd love to visit Scotland one day. Luckily I discovered your channels for a bit of guidance. 🤓👍🏻👏❤️🏴
The Ginger Gyrl455 unreality hope you make it over here 😊
I also enjoyed my trip to Orkney with Rabbies last year 😊. Much recommended. Scotland has some truly beautiful spots, and the guide was really talented.
Wow, Skara Brae is amazing! The outer Scottish islands are so fascinating. They are so beautifully wild and it's amazing to think of the people who lived there in the past and who live there now. Thank you for the wonderful explorations.
Malinda thank you Malinda só glad you liked it 😊
Oh...My...God!....Shaun, you really outdid yourself this time! This 4k......It literally felt like I was there! So beautiful!....As a Master Gardener, the wild flower shots were GREAT!....also, the cliffs, closes, and water....I'm just speechless! I agree, there is so much to be in awe of there, and I will definitely be making a trip to Orkney as soon as I can get back to Scotland! This was fantastic footage!
I loved it on Orkney,. I stayed in Stromness, great wee place and had some fun in Kirkwall. Brodgar was amazing, It felt like there was some sort of power there and I felt like I was at home when I was at Skara Brae. I really need to go back. Great video mate
David Wardle cheers David I totally agree with you, magic place
Again, I have to thank you for doing this series on Orkney. I still have family there, and as much as I would love to visit, I know that I will never be able to. Your videos are probably as close as I will ever get to actually seeing these sites, so bless you and your efforts to bring them to the world.
Longhair's View Of The World só cool that you traced your ancestry to there
I dinna have to go back far. My great grandparents came over on the boat, and I even have the trunk that was built for my great grandmother to make the journey with. We stay in touch with the family on that side of the pond, and some of the younger members of the clan have made the trip, but alas...I'm getting too old for a trek like that. Thank you again Shaun! These videos are a breath of fresh air!
I was there on a warm day in Last July. Enjoyed the walks around the Neolithic sites and the landscape. As you already said, it was the same day probably. I am terribly impressed by the size and age of the stones and villages. Hope it will survive for another thousand years and more, and not destroyed by a storm or... too many tourists.
I knew this series was going to be good. The video was beautiful and it was wonderful to see the beautiful scenery and the history of Orkney. Thanks for taking me there.
The history is what is amazing to me. People have walked that area eons ago and left their mark.
Really enjoyed that. Those standing stones are amazing. Just the historical value alone is awesome. And there's something about these small seaside towns I find fascinating. Looking forward to next Sundays video!
Roy Giunta thank you Roy really glad you enjoyed it 😊😊😊
I went there in August 2017 and yes, it's awesome. I would love to go back. Even sponsored a square at the archeological dig at the Ness of Brodgar.
rohan1970b Nice one - such a cool place
@@shaunvlog , yes. If you ever get the chance to go back. Stay at the Standing Stones Hotel (really a B&B also). It's a very nice place.
I 'd love to go to Orkney!! Thank you Shaun for doing these amazing videos!
I miss Scotland. What a beautiful place. My holidays in January and February, 2020, 47 days in Scotland. Every place is a history and a beautiful Architecture. I love you videos man! Thankyou so much
The views and stonework are So Gorgeous, warm and relaxing to watch. Thanks for the tour Shaun!!!
11:10 took my breath away. What it must have been like for you, actually standing there and seeing it live!!
Hey brother is another really great video. It shows another great reason why tourism is flourishing in Scotland. I just want to say again how much we appreciate the perspectives and the kind words from your trips to America. I do look forward to you some day visiting the San Francisco Bay area. We have the best wine and Chinese food anywhere😊
James Cole Johnson thanks so much James I really want to visit the Bay Area
As a former Californian, I say that San Francisco has THE best sourdough bread ever!!!

I visited Orkney three weeks ago. Beautiful place with wonderful people. I can't wait to go back!
This area is gorgeous! I love it. Those standing stones are huge! What a beautiful place Scotland is. Orkney - I would love to be able to visit your country, but cannot afford it right now.
What a beautiful place! That little village. Thank you Shaun for sharing. Can’t wait for this pandemic to end so I can begin planning my trip.
Magnificent Shaun. I visited Callanish on Lewis/Harris in June this year on a Rabbie’s tour, thanks to your suggestion. Magical, mystical, alien landscape and spiritual experience all three days of our tour. Looks like you’ve just selected our next spot to visit in Scotland, next year after your trip to NC in October. What I am always so impressed with is your knowledge of each area you visit. Your research before these vlogs must be endless and exhausting. So glad you managed a brief cameo of Teka for us to say hello to your BW. Can’t wait for the next one.
Thank you Shaun!! I am absolutely in awe of the beauty, history and mystery of Orkney and other ancient sites in Scotland. These are the videos that I look especially forward to on your channel 🏴 💕.
A lovely reminder to love and appreciate the wonders nearby as well as abroad. I'm inspired to go visit my local sites of interest.
L Chapman so many cool places
Phenomenal video Shaun and thanks for sharing beautiful Orkney with us! Looking forward to booking a couple of Rabbies tours for next year! Xxx
Siobhan Crawford really glad you like it 😊

Such an incredibly beautiful place!
Thank you so much Shaun ! One day, God willing, I will get to come and see it for myself. Thanks again : )
Shaun thank you so much! It's perfect! The voiceovers, the camera work and the absolutely stunning flowers by the sea! What a beautiful little town! The historical sites are my favorites! I'm going to watch this later on my big screen! Wow, I'm so amazed at the beauty and the structures! Thank you a million times for bringing this to life for me! Bless you! Love to Teka!
First time here watching your videos. I've been in Scotland once, actually just in Edinburgh, it was a dream to be there and I fell in love with the city and the lovely people. Hugs from Brazil.
Absolutely gorgeous! Fascinating structures. The ice cream looked good too. haha Thanks for taking us along. :)
I've been in Orkney last year for a Linklater Masterclass and we had a day off. The citizens took us to these wonderful places, and I loved them. It was a balm for my soul. I love also Rabbie's, I think is a smart idea and every country should have it. Every time I come to Scotland I book a trip with them. Thank you Shaun for make me feel like I'm there instead of this new Italian lock down.
Thanks Shaun! The standing stones look so much larger with people around them for scale.
Shaun, one of your best vlogs so far. Spectacular. My family (Clan McCall) is from Orkney so thanks for posting!!!
Shaun that was incredible detail due to the 4K video. Color and clarity was amazing. Enough content to wet the appetite to visit the Orkney’s. If I ever get to visit Scotland will definitely be utilizing Rabbie’s as a private chartered tour. Thanks for sharing. Aloha.

amykat5 thank you so much Amy 😊😊😊
This is absolutely breathtaking!! It could be heaven 😌
Thank you so much Shaun. The video quality as well as the content was stunning. As always your videos are always enjoyed. I live in Canada and have visited parts of the UK and always wanted to see Scotland. Your videos have increased my interest 10 folds. ☺️
It's so beautiful ! I would love to see it for myself someday!🌹
I think the circles were part of ancient people's way of worshipping their "gods" and nature. They seem to line up to the sun and moon and local points and seem to be like a form of prehistoric science. I think the ancients were more advanced than we give them credit for
PS be very proud of this ❤️ it's very good 👍🏼
I think the circles are related to ley lines and are energy vortexes / portals of Mother Earth itself. I can feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel them and I have ancient memories about them which are being activated once again.
Another beautiful and educational video. Love all of your videos.
Fantastic! Such beautiful footage, and the rude comment below about your voice is dead wrong. Thanks, Shaun!!
thanks so much Gena :)
You can make this trip if you really want to. For about $4000 total for two, (airfare, 12 days of lodging, food, admission tickets, surface transportation, air tickets) you CAN see this and more. And do it without any agents. NOT AN AD. The links for rail, bus, ferry services are all online and their schedules match up with each other. Arrive in Edinburgh on Nov 19, in time for the Christmas market opening.
thank you for giving us a nice taste of your beautiful country!
Love these historical videos of Scotland!
Gorgeous footage of
The stones and of the ocean and bay. Thanks so much!

Hi Shaun. I really enjoyed this Video! Skara Brae is an amazing place to see and learn about!! The views of the monuments, the excavation sites, and the landscapes there are incredible. The video quality, the clarity is excellent, and Thank you for showing us this place. Everything is so beautiful, the thistle, wildflowers, seascapes, villages, monuments, etc. It's fascinating to think about the civilization in this time period, and that these sites have been documented and preserved, and that you can walk amongst the standing stones, and other sites there. I'm looking forward to your future videos!! Cheers!!👍

Hey Shaun, hi from Texas! 😊 Hey, that was great, loved it! Although, I was a bit worried when you touched the stone...you could have fallen through space and time. For real though, that little town and the UNESCO sites were amazing and your own enthusiasm whilst exploring was great.
I enjoyed your video. I'm going on this tour with Rabbie's in the spring and am so excited to visit these amazing sites!
