Q: Why do people grow pubic hair? A: Hair can be seen as the watch tower of the immune system. Notice before puberty we do not produce as much sweat and fat, so infections can hardly develop, but after puberty, arm pits and genitals are full of hormones, sweat and high temperatures, the perfect place for bacteria and fungus to grow. Hair gives the immune system the possibility to reach out with more efficiency. Hairs carry small amounts of anti-bodies, which can anticipate the presence of infections. People who shave frequently tend to develop skin infections, as well as std's more frequently Q: Why is pubic hair curly? A: Curly hair is good at containing what is inside in, and cushion what comes from the outside since it's long and covers a small surface. It's good at keeping anti-bodies on the skin and slowing the advance of infections.
People get infections after shaving because they dont do it right! You have to take care off the skin after shaving and you dont get infections. And use proper blades and not just any blade,no only the good ones prevent much damage to the skin.

Hair cross-section is not a circle. At least not for all races. Asians have a roundish cross-section - that's why they have straight hair, that can be difficult to style. Black people have a flattened oval cross-section - that's why they have very curly hair. Europeans' hair is the combination of the two. We have a kind of rounded-triangle cross-section and it varies greatly from person to person. Also our hair is much finer, than the other two, about half the diameter of the other two. That's why Europeans have lots of various hair styles.

@@pumpkingirl4229 i remember reading that some men like to see a Brazilian wax while others want to see the whole Brazilian jungle. I tend more toward the latter.
I've always been very hairy in the most perfect of ways. Lots of it on my chest, armpits, on top of my head and on my face and around my belly button, arms and legs. A little on my shoulders at the tops of my arms. And that's it. None on my back on butt or biceps or anything. Even the distribution is perfect. Except for maybe a strong widows peak. But I'm kind of okay with that, because my hairline is still very strong at 28 (with some regrowth from going No Poo), and my hair is wavy, so it poofs out to hide it anyway. Plus, the look is distinctintive for my ancestral background, and completes my facial features quite well...esp once I grow my hair in! I LOVE ALL OF MY HAIRS BY A LOT!!!!
I manscape for 3 reasons. It feels better, and the hair traps odor. Also, I have very fine wispy ginger pubes, and I just don't like the way they look.
I totally agree. In fact, I don't even like to shave my face all that much. I do though because I don't look good with facial hair. Most men don't About half of men who have beards really shouldn't....
I Hypothesize that hair under our arms and between our buttocks, is to reduce friction. This is also what the pubic hair patch is for during sex. To reduce friction against each other in missionary position. Without it our skin sticks together and gets rashy, red & sore from friction & sweat (which can grow fungal infections).. Hair kind of allows sliding between skin in high friction areas. Even stopping our own genital and skin down there from sticking together, and to move more freely. That's my take on why we have hair down there, or even why we didn't lose it from those high friction, sweaty, hot areas between skin. It makes the most sense, and it works. You will know if you have shaved armpits, that your skin sticks together. Or had missionary sex with a person with a waxed or stubbly pubic bone hair patch. That hair is there to reduce friction between hot, sticky skin. Friction patches where are surfaces of skin can rub, seem to have hair. Think about it. Cheers.
It’s also unnatural to clip our toenails and fingernails, cut and style the hair on our head, shave our legs and faces, etc. Seems to me that there isn’t much to the argument that Pubes are natural so therefore they shouldn’t be trimmed, waxed, or shaved.
He didn’t spoke about trimming. It’s only if you completely remove it from above your skin. Trimming it doesn’t affect it much, like cutting your nails and other hair. Or I hope so for you, it would be horrible to have skin problems when you go to the hair dresser. As pubic hair are in a moist area, if you shave it, some have a lot of problems when it grows back. And pubic hair doesn’t have the same function as nails and other hairs.
I read the reason was because of the face to face sexual intercourse. The hair reduces uncomfortable friction on the skin at the groin. Same reason for the armpits - the friction of swinging your arms when walking or other movements is eased by the hair.
According to the Kama sutra every hair is a sex organ. Pubic hair is also a shock absorber during vigorous sex (the best kind). Plus, it looks ridiculous for a grown person to have no pubes. The video also mentioned susceptibility to weird infections. No thanks, I prefer me and my man to be natural
I don’t do full waxing or shaving. I do gardening.I trim things. If a man doesn’t want a grown woman with some pube hair, he’s not getting nothing from me
Warning was probably unnecessary. This is a scientifically-themed piece with no realistic pictorial representations of anatomy; no innuendo or suggestive comments included. Pretty fair sex-ed; unless you're concerned about 6-7 year olds here....
I have never had short and curlies..long and straight. Plus, my hair is so light you cannot see most of it, on legs, arms, pubes. Now, getting older, it has disappeared almost entirely..especially the pits and pubes.
Same. Don’t know if you’re male or female, but I’m a male who has less arm and leg hair than many women. I also have straight and not curly pubes, although mine are short not long. As I get older I have even less body hair. Judging from all the hassle people seem to go through to get rid of it I’m pretty happy about it.
I've just spent a week at Cap d'Agde, France and no-one had pubic hair. Seriously, except for teenagers, all the adults, even parents of said teens, all were shaved.
Pubic lice are slowly going extinct because people are keeping it nice and tidy "downstairs". The same goes for intestinal parasites because of today's high food quality. I once talked to a biologist working at my university who had received a petition from the head of her department if anyone would be willing to give a bunch of homeless tapeworms a place to live for the sake of biological diversity. Needless to say, I doubt he got too many answers.
This video seems biased towards not waxing. Although I agree shaving with a blade has several risks, waxing in Brazil, at least, is a very hygienic method: the wax is disposable and anti-septic anti-allergic cleansers and wipes are used afterwards. In addition, there is evidence that at least in really hot countries, waxing prevents overheating of pubic areas, thus preventing recurrent yeast infection.
I remove it but i do so for purely aesthetic reasons and anyone who talks trash about those who won't remove it is gross & entitled. itt has to be aknowledged that some people just plain cannot do it because they get skin iritations.
Shaving the pits helps keep the accumulated smell from the sweat out, and just use some clippers to trim the hair down not razor blades, or cut them down with scissors.
Matthew Mitchell That doesn't have a lot to do with it. I'm pointing out when it begins happening. If you're not into athletic activity then it probably won't matter as much, but it still is good reason for keeping it trimmed down. To each their own.
I have very thick pubic hair. 2 years ago I had a hernia surgery ans they shaved it off. It drove me crazy growing back till it got long enough to bend over
I gotta say I'm dissapointed with the video. I feel like it is against shaving pubic hair as it gives silly reasons for shaving (like the one with "smaller" clothes"). There are 2 major pros of shaving pubics off: 1. Sweat - when you do sweat, it all lies in this hair and if you can't take a shower shortly after u perspirated then you are gonna stink. Shaving the hair let's you make sure that the antiperspirant u use will be enough to get you through the day before you hit the shower. 2. Sweat again :D - men In the summer, when it's hot and u must wear jeans f.e. ur balls are gonna sweat and it's so nasty and feels so bad to have it all sticky down there. Without the hair, it feels like you have more space for the skin to breathe and just feels more hygienic. 3. The looks - that ofc is very much a matter of tastes, but for me and most of people these days, pubic hair are not attractive. Specially in women ofc but also in man.
For me personnally its to do with oral sex. Going down on her is just so much easier without them brushing my nose, and getting that occational one in the mouth. And especially if the girl doesnt want to leave the light on.
When i was younger i found out about my pubic hair on my 😼 i kept pulling it and it hurted bad but i didnf care i thought it was strange so i kept pulling it and i have a spot and it hurts so bad lol
For me, trying to remove pubic hair always resulted in skin rashes and discomfort, followed by the discomfort of the stubbly hair as it grows back. Thank god I stopped that nonsense years ago.

Leaving pubic hair as is can also help prevent urinary tract infections, vaginitis, etc.

Didn't need to know about your ginger pubes or lack of mate😂
Johnny John thanks for that extra info
Ginger pubes are hot. but I know a lot of Gingers do not like their Firecrotch. Too bad so sad.
@@richardedwards5379 ginger pubes are awesome!
That Karate Kid reference at the end totally cracked me up! :D
Pubic hair removal... I feel that's extra unnecessary work...
Not healthy either
I've stopped trimming or shaving my pubic hair feel far more comfortable and no irritation with a full bush.
Benefits to shaving
You can stink everyday! Yea I'm in!
You can still stink even if you don't shave
Not as bad as those who shave.
Just do what you want, and be respectful of other people doing what they want. Educated decisions of course. Don't expect anyone to do what you want
personally I like it more when a woman has pubic hair but that's me though
YGV true
Peter Moores - Seconded!
@@rachelw821 Amen to that!
Me too
Unless of course it's an 80's style bush. There's a balance.
If a man doesn’t want a grown woman with some pube hair, he’s not getting nothing from me
Where's James? I thought this was his channel? Or was he just a scheme to get you lots of subscribers?
filming topgear I suppose , or some other project , the man is quite busy.
Also I've heard, he's quite slow.

I'll show myself out.
Jordan O'C YEAAAAAAA....
I will unsubscribe
going to watch top gear,
no james... no zest
I do it because I have a period every month, and all that blood getting stuck in all that stuff HURTS.
Judging from all the hassle people seem to go through to get rid of it I’m pretty happy about it.
mine grow like an afro
I have an afro on my head, but I have straight pubes. I always assumed the hot pee and general pH of the area straightened my pubes, but I guess not.
you killed me.
Lol
I make sponge outta my pubes
Ahahahahah same thing 😂
Landing strips are important so you know where to land.
It's a weird cultural thing. All body hair must have a function, including beard hair. It's probably healthier for men to have santa beards too.
Needless to say, I doubt he got too many answers.
so sad
If they'll make the worm sterile, I'll give it a temporary home.
Leave pubic hair alone it's put there for a reason we need it
I agree with you I prefer it far more comfortable with hair.
WE HAVE PUBS..SO THE CRABS HAVE A PLACE TO SLEEP... ITS LIKE AN OASIS FOR THEM
This video seems biased towards not waxing.
I think pubic hair on girls is extremely sexy as long as it's maintained.
Oh that's why I got scared when hair was on my balls I thought my balls were infected
I remove it but i do so for purely aesthetic reasons and anyone who talks trash about those who won't remove it is gross & entitled.
itt has to be aknowledged that some people just plain cannot do it because they get skin iritations.
You literally contradicted yourself in ONE sentence, KendrixTermina. Tumblr indeed.
I am just curious how does that make people entitled.
Pedophiles don't like pubic hair.
Why??? because we are apes: and we sit on seven merged tailbones. Jesus too.
Im keeping my pub hair
Please return on a regular basis
Its for protection just like the skin..
So if I wipe the sweat from my pits and put in on my eyebrows they’ll grow in fuller?!😅
cool video!!! maybe you will like ASK LARA-bad hair day a cartoon about first hair
We needed hair because we didn’t have adequate clothing for CENTURIES!
Now, DO WHAT YOU WANT. Good grief.
Well, it's "Do what you want" indeed. (As long as you decide to keep your body hair and it's starts to annoy others unlike yourself.)
The real question is why was this "recommended" for me?
Part of it is to cover our rude bits
Styles come and go. I like the "bush", too childlike appearence without it. The feel of it, look of it. Bush-👍, no bush-👎
I was critical of a number of other sites because the sound was so poor. You seem to have acceptable sound.
I shave since I was 14-15 because who would want that massive amount of 11+cm long pubic hair? It feels 1000x better to have it shaved.
I know ,right? I'm just gonna shave it anyway tho
Not all pubic hair is short and curly.
Shaving the pits helps keep the accumulated smell from the sweat out, and just use some clippers to trim the hair down not razor blades, or cut them down with scissors.
Have you heard of showering or bathing?
Matthew Mitchell That doesn't have a lot to do with it. I'm pointing out when it begins happening. If you're not into athletic activity then it probably won't matter as much, but it still is good reason for keeping it trimmed down. To each their own.
Matthew Mitchell Also just showering or bathing isn't going to keep your pits from starting to stink, you should know.
my garlic glove would get lost in the bush if it doesn't get trimmed.
It's the only part of our fur we haven't been stupid enough to lose.
Leslie Dellow then explain why we are smarter than our previous ancestors and they had more "fur"
It's nice to know that Greg Foote probably has a full bush.
this isnt just a theory it's a game theory!
Wow so informative great love it
I shampoo and condition my pubic hair. 😎
I have very thick pubic hair. 2 years ago I had a hernia surgery ans they shaved it off. It drove me crazy growing back till it got long enough to bend over
Thought i'd "Add a pubic comment"
I see what you did there...
James May should have explained this!
I gotta say I'm dissapointed with the video. I feel like it is against shaving pubic hair as it gives silly reasons for shaving (like the one with "smaller" clothes").
There are 2 major pros of shaving pubics off:
1. Sweat - when you do sweat, it all lies in this hair and if you can't take a shower shortly after u perspirated then you are gonna stink.
Shaving the hair let's you make sure that the antiperspirant u use will be enough to get you through the day before you hit the shower.
2. Sweat again :D - men
In the summer, when it's hot and u must wear jeans f.e. ur balls are gonna sweat and it's so nasty and feels so bad to have it all sticky down there.
Without the hair, it feels like you have more space for the skin to breathe and just feels more hygienic.
3. The looks - that ofc is very much a matter of tastes, but for me and most of people these days, pubic hair are not attractive. Specially in women ofc but also in man.
It's been 2 years I hope your educated enough to know there are almost no pros to shaving except "the looks"
You can't compare hygiene to shaving.
For me personnally its to do with oral sex. Going down on her is just so much easier without them brushing my nose, and getting that occational one in the mouth. And especially if the girl doesnt want to leave the light on.
I wonder if there is a correlation between the advent of Barbi dolls and pubic hair removal.
I love hairy beavers.
When i was younger i found out about my pubic hair on my 😼 i kept pulling it and it hurted bad but i didnf care i thought it was strange so i kept pulling it and i have a spot and it hurts so bad lol
Hey bro can I ask question from you
You are a girl?
