Thanks for this amazing information !! If you don't find a means of multiplying money, you will wake up one day to realize that the money you thought you had, has finished. Investment is key, I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life
It took me 3 years to stop trying to predict what's about to happen in the market based on charts studying because you never know. Please, i need the help of your Investment advisor.
The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading
what i think you need is a Financial Adviser, who can help you get in and out of any stock you buy at any time and you'd sure be in Profit
who would you recommend?
*TERESA JENSEN WHITE,* That's whom i work with
I can’t drop her info here, UA-cam is a public place. Just do a web lookup using her full name and connect to her official webpage.
Okay, I just found her website, very impressive have to admit!
Amit is the real OG blogger in India's blogging scene. Another insane skill Amit has is his SEO skills - checkout how well it blog posts rank for Digital Inspirations. Digital Inspirations was making over $200K back then when CPMs used to be super cheap.
I think he was the first tech blogger in India and my friends say he has been on India’s business news channels since late 2000s.
CNBC covered him in early 2000s
Amit isn't some random dude making money, anyone who is a tech nerd in the entire country who had access to the internet before 2010 knows him.
Don't WhatsApp him it's a bit account !!
Ya I agree. I too have been on his blog and used his plugins many time around 2011-2014. But I didn’t know that he is a one person company. Also making above 10 Mill $ yearly for his paid services was also unbelievable.
True
Shaan dropping mad wisdom today. 'Write to be known well instead of well known', and 'what advice would your 21 self give you' were both 🤯
To talk a little more about the Indian tax part just as I'm watching the beginning:
1) The tax rate in India caps at 30% for most citizens if you make more than 1.5M Rupees or about $19k. However, starting at 10M ($120k) rupees, they add a tax surcharge between 10- 37% (of the 30% tax rate), making your marginal rate 42% when you make above 50M Rupees or $620k. Basically they increase your 30% tax rate BY 37% which makes it about 42%.
2) Yes, 6% of Indians file taxes but the truth of the matter is if you make more than 300k Rupees or $3700 ANNUALLY, you are in the top 10% of the country but still below the minimum income required to have to pay the tax. So LESS than 10% of the country even HAS the requirement to pay any tax in the first place. So that makes the 6% filing rate more undestandable when youre looking at it from a 1st world perspective where almost everyone has tax liability. That being said what people actually claim to make on their filings is probably up for questioning.
That is for the personal income right? If he is not taking a salary he can save a lot in under his business's account.
@@vijayabhaskarj3095 Yes you’re right, but they were specifically talking about personal income when mentioning the 6% filing rate so that’s why I focused on that.
Same in indonesia, most don't file tax, because there is no Tax to pay for majority of the population .
Great context - thanks for that!
Great comment, thank you very muc for the clarification and you gave so much details and insights, really appreciate it.
Amit Agrawal isn't some ordinary guy. He is a legend, a tech genius.
Lol chill
Nice of Shaan to have interviewed his papa
he actually is just a guy wo took risk to start something and was at right place at right time.
@@logicsandtrolls3616 he is a super talented person. You don't come across people like that all the time - even in the tech field which is full of needs, geeks, builders, entrepreneurs he is exceptional.
He is the first blogger in India.
Amit has always been known as the father of blogging in India. Many well-known bloggers started blogging following him.
Amit Agarwal does earn a LOT more than a developer with 20 years of experience but certainly not anything like the double digit million $$ numbers thrown around casually in this video
Think a full episode on the 'Sarah's list' would be awesome. I'm a junior dev and would love to know what startups will print
I admire the financial independence of people, But you can live better if you work a little more. After watching this I think there are people out there, on the extreme, who plan to die early just to be able to retire early. To each their own but to me retirement isn't just about not having to work, it's about having the freedom to do whatever you might reasonably want, such as travel, buying things, enjoying life, etc. I don't think I could retire with less than $3m in income generating investments, maybe $2m at the very minimum. I plan to work until I'm at least 45.
Nobody knows anything, you need to create your own process, manage risk and stick to the plan, through thick or thin while also continuously learning from mistakes and improving
@@AUstinnesc Everyone's first aim should be achieving financial security by careful saving and investing as soon as possible. After that, you can explore other options whenever you want if the work exhausts you. I'm sure the concept of a coach could sound generic or contentious to some, but after firsthand experience, I can declare with certainty that their skill sets are top-notch. In just 14 months, I was able to generate over $250k from an originally stagnating reserve of $90K.
There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.
@@sherryie2 I've been in touch with a financial advisor ever since I started my business. Knowing today's culture The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my adviser chooses entry and exit orders.
@@Aziz__0 Is there any chance you could recommend who you work with?

Amazing conversation. I love the tips and takeaways. I'm inspired.

I love the shift between well known and known well 👌🏼
Yes I know Amit , he has been a famous blogger and one of the early tech bloggers I used to follow him . That’s early 2003-2004. He has made lotnof money those early years . Always loved his content . He is famous
That's amazing and nice content I've had so much accomplishment after accepting the introduction of the digital unit and the prospect that they'll be beneficial when traded.
Achieving this with KING.AROBERTSON
Whom I connected with on instagram.
Even while I also checked through his display on 1nstagram and it seemd quit convincing with so possibility of a relying deal with him ill also make a go...
I've neglected this for so long until this recent times butDeconomy reverse which took all out unaware then I stumbled upon faith discovering this with King.arobertson
The introduction of digital trading is incredible
I love that 'make your 12 year old self proud'. That's exactly me: not having enough fun, being far too serious (most of the time).
Loving your podcasts! Are transcripts available?
Definitely need another segment of SARA’s list
Shaan just nailed my new pitch to anyone about business starting at around the 15m timestamp.
Props to you both for not using 30,000,000 in the title for clickbait - professionalism achieved by whoever's writing them
it's not that deep
And in India $20 mil is more like $100 mil maybe more, especially depending on where you are in India. BALLER 😮
1,65,47,70,000 Indian rupee
I was always interested in investing but am really confused on what platform to use, for example what platforms or websites do guys like buffet etc use or what is the best platform to use for short and long term investments? Any reccomendations?
Would love to see a new updated SARA's list..
Tax rate is upto 30% on personal income, and corp is also similar
Minus expenses
Amit is from my alma mater, he was one of the first professional bloggers in India, and that probably helped him capitalize a lot.
I wasn't financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my second house already, earn on a monthly basis via my investment and got 5 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing in the financial market is a grand choice I made. Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Very inspiring! I love this. .
He had a blog post that made the first responsive ad unit back in the day, which is now common place. He's a genius
whats a responsive ad unit?
@@swyxTV the ad adjusts for your screen size
he is often called the father of blogging in india.. he's an inspiration
Surprised the army of google engineers can’t quickly release features to make his products obsolete
That's precisely the difference in being too big, and being a BYOB.. No strategy meetings, fancy infra, no who takes the credit 🙂
Google is too big to go after small bits and features. Also, if they start killing their own marketplace creators, that directly hurts their business.
@@MrKrtek00this !!
This billionaire of the week intro is dope.
Lol he’s not making $20m. John Davis guy who first tweeted about him just assumed out of thin air that he’s getting 5% conversions, wayy offf. I think you guys should just contact him ask for real no.s. I bet neither John Davis nor MFM even bothered asking this person the real no.s, everyone’s making up no.s on their own lol
Exactly..
they did ask him tho and said he got no response
Did you even watch the video? They contacted him and he didn't respond.

Well look here. The boys have finally gone and monetised. It was always a countdown until the ads hit. Boys went deep, playing the long game. Well played gents. Well played.
The amount of real energy these guys emit is awesome in a sea of pretentious millionaire gurus.
I don’t care what everyone is saying about these guys, I think they are witty and interesting.
Hello My First Million, quick comment, I don’t know if it was intentional but there’s not the option to download this video and watch offline. For some of us living in countries where internet connexion is slow, expensive and unreliable, the option of being able to download a video is very useful because when the video is download, then it’s still possible to watch it even when we’re offline which is usually half of the time because UA-cam consumes a lot of data. Thank you 🙃
Ok, doing some research and think there are two Carl Allen's, one founded Heritage Bags and the other is someone completely different. The founder of the bag company is dead. The treasure hunter guy is still alive. Apparently there are some sites with inaccurate info out there...
I just applied for job 100% because of Sarahs List. Thanks for the idea.
The Bahamas are crazy underrated.
I have been there on a sailboat, you can get there from florida in the same day sailing and then, 700 island, white beaches it’s crazy.
If it were to be the to US it would be 1000X more developed.
I was already a fan of Amit Agarwal due to his brilliant articles but didn't know that he was such a success.
I'm still not used to not hearing "I can't get this client" in Indian accent when hubspot commercial starts
Lots of ❤ love from india🇮🇳... Each and every podcast is value pacts and informative.
Love your show
Can you share the link to the young Jonah story, now you got me on the hunt to watch it?
Digital Inspiration helps people to see how to do process and real outputs. Unlike Microsoft you must learn on your own which is 100x harder. People are attracted to things they can do aside from firstly wanting it.
His blog is said to be first tech blog of India
amazing content
Can we have an updated version of Sarah’s list for 2023 pls!
Most people don't pay taxes in India because agriculture is tax free and 60% of the population is employed in agriculture
A whole lot of ships were plundered in the waters of the Bahamas by Pirates like the notorious "Black beard" for the treasures and commodities they carried. I am sure one day he just might find some of it if he sticks with his exploration adventures.
I have such a thrive to get wealthy too, found out some years ago that I have an uncle in the USA that founded the biggest independent music label of the USA. But I don't know him yet, maybe one day I can learn from him. Guess he has alot of business knowledge.
I've had that same motto for a while, make my 15 year old self proud hahah
Arie, nice to see here. I love your channel.
amit had a popular blog called labnol during the 2010 times. every internet user from india at that time, would know about his blog

Well, there are Extensions and SaaS that does that. Most of the things are pais.

"What advice would your 21 year old self give you" should be it's own youtube video.
The numbers are so high, why isnt google just adding these features/plugins and raking in the same revenue?
crazy I did a search for the billy of the week and looks like he's dead? I see his obituary
If your money is coming from outside the country, you don't have to pay tax. There some tax exemption for the money coming through export of services... He can have full amount himself..
Tell me more
He's done amazingly well - but it's not that unheard of any more. A fair few online entrepreneurs pulling 7 figs a month now.
I am not sure whether this is true or not. I am skeptical!!
Thanks shaan it's truly inspiring, I am also from India.

Take Risk, do something hard !
Wonderful
Taxes in india are paid indirectly as sales tax , even if majority of the people do not pay income tax
Warren Buffett : I would buy the S&P 500 in a second $209,000,000,000 need he say more ?
so Amit's basically just a super genius
Incredible
Every Indian pays tax in one form or other as most of our taxes are indirect taxes like GST, Excise Duty, Customs duty etc. Income tax is only a small portion of our tax collections. Please understand the tax system before commenting that only 2 % of Indians pay taxes. Even if you buy a 1 Rupee Candy you pay taxes on that. As far as cash economy goes India is far far far ahead in digital payments than USA as of today.
What are Google plug in
Yeah. Its possible. Know what sells, plus working for the multi-dollar tech company.
He is all over on India TV as techie. All his traffic comes from TV viewers.
On tax, you need to pay taxes in india. And the rate is as High as in US. Super rich have to pay nearly 45% as tax.
You can't get away without paying taxes... he will be easily paying 35% on taxes for sure. And ITR is mandatory and completely tracked online
You do realise he operates behind a LLC. He can use corporate structuring ro reduce tax footprint.
“You’re saving money for when you’re even older?? You’re already old.”
For those who dont know , for this guy , amit agarwal , tax rates net up to almost 35% for the amount of money he is making
Not paying Income Tax But almost everybody paid around 30% indirect tax, no social security here
No SBS comments
In India income tax and rules are only for employees working in organized sector. Rest rich who don't pay taxes have huge mansions n expensive cars
He was cheeky cos he was selling his products on his blog b not telling ppl
I came here to learn how to invest after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $960,000 in 4 months from $160k, somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm still confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas.
It is possible to produce superior performance provided you do something different from the majority. However, most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to the cost of proper diversification.
Having monitored my portfolio performance which has made a jaw dropping $470k from just the past two quarters alone, I have learned why experienced traders make enormous returns from the seemingly unknown market.
Interesting. I have a lump sum doing absolutely nothing at all in my bank account, I wanna get something started with it. You seem to be doing excellent for yourself, how do you achieve this?
@@Maricel_oronan< Hello Do you trade on your own?
It’s hard to be a millionaire with these guys
well for your kind information every person pay tax here in india (i.e GST), the Tax you may be talking about is "income Tax", which is levied on less people because of the low proportion of the organized sector , talking about financial inclusion please search for "Jan Dhan Yojna" , and Mr. amit agarwal is a legend in blogging here in india, the reason not many people recognize him because he remain low profile. numbers tell no story my dear friend.

Few things first to clarify 22% percent taxes in India for corporate. 9% percent of people pay taxes (14% tax in China). Take accountability of your words.
