The no-brand business basically just described Japanese company Muji. They did US$3.5 billion in sales last year. Muji (無印) literally means "unbranded" in Japanese.
I actually think the quality of the pod is a feature not a bug... I can see having an in person studio that is nice for interviews but the two of you together quality is perfect imo
Last idea is what Everlane tried doing. Innovator in the DTC space that created the concept of radical transparency in manufacturing pricing for fashion basics. Scaled to 100m and still in the game.
The dog ramp story is hard if you grew up with large breed dogs - Doberman, Golden Retriever, German Shepherds in our house. Ramp is not needed. I visited my brother and sister-in-law. They had two small Yorkies. They had the ramps. First time I'd ever seen them. Ramp for the couch, ramp for the bed. I operate rental properties with dog breed restrictions (insurance issue) and all my dog-owning tenants have tiny dogs. So it's a huge market. They probably don't want the risk of being turned down for an apartment with a large breed dog. The punchline is that while cats are small too, their back legs are like a Kangaroo, they can jump up onto kitchen countertops. These small breed dogs are nothing like that. The owner gets tired of lifting the dog up then down again.
For those of you wondering why Sam is so quick with ideas like the romance idea he did a great podcast on copyrighting during the pandemic about recession proofing yourself
I love dividends. I mean, they give that peace of mind just like annuities. However if you need growth, you may have to switch things up a bit. Concepts like algorithmic trading and diversification of assets can be of great help for growth oriented individuals. I've gone around 23% up from the last two quarters.
@@George-hl7jf Sorry I'm not a money manager nor an advisor lol. I only use Josephine Guevara Laporte's popular program. She's a chartered financial analyst. Look her up and maybe schedule a call. Might be the best bet for you. Consistency and smart diversification skills were the clincher for me with Josephine.
Hi, I found the lady's official website after I looked up her name. She's got some impressive stats and qualifications and I'd drop her a message right away. What's the fee structure?
@@theexpendables3152 Josephine takes ten percent of the profit she makes. And since it's an algorithmic based model, it's very much transparent. You can actually see what assets you have and how much growth your portfolio achieves over time.
The trick to the brandless shirts and clothes is not a monthly fee. It's a fee to purchase all month. So if they buy in March its 11 bucks per March right, but if no purchase next two months customer doesnt feel like they are committed or wasting. So each season they come back and make purchase paying their 11 dollar club fee etc. Feel it would work and they buy x amount to maximize club savings
Hey I'm a SINGLE BLACK WOMAN and I LOVE THIS SHOW since finding it a couple weeks ago! I'll go to the matchmaker event because anyone who is into the kind of convos you are having is my kind of guy💯😂🙌🏾
Loved This! - Question: Which episode is the one with your buddy Ramon? You talked about him in this episoode and sounds super interesting, but I cant seem to find it! Gracias!
how about making life better for residents and more affordable instead of exploiting the poor and elderly (while abusing them as well). You guys are sick people
Regarding Ramon's story. Was it legal to buy that information and republish it? Did he have to get permission from the soap operas or pay a licensing fee? Just wondering because when I try to do similar stuff there is always the issue of trying to get permission. Maybe the environment's different now? don't know how long ago he did it.
Personal injury attorney industry is not ethical! On my death bed I don’t need millions of dollars if I’ve spent my whole life profiting off of people’s pain.
That couple is 7/10 attractive, definitely not 10/10. A 7 is still most attractive you'll probably see on a day to day basis. A true 9-10 is someone like Henry Cavil or David Gandy. For women it's a prime Angelina Jolie
Throughout this whole video I"m just wondering what the heck is that next to and behind Sam - a life sized map of the world shaped like a headless, limbless woman?!???
Consider this? Nike is just a brand that uses "retailers" to sell their products. There are many thousands of sites offering Nike items. What almost all customers do not know is that some sites are actually run by a "distributor". Imagine if they have 100+ individual sites, whereby all sales are processed from a single location. Ghost is simply a platform that provides a service to support distributors which then sell through retailers. Now, place your clothing items within a platform that supports 100+ stores ( requiring a very low break-even margin ), each with it's own growth potential. At some point would you add an additional 100+ stores and just duplicate the concept? What if your customers could sell your items as "resellers"? Pay them a commission for each sale while they are promoting your items. Could that be an additional 100+ stores at no cost to you? A dedicated URL owned by the reseller, not a "expiring referral link". Merchants most likely never consider being a distributor and focus all their resources on their single retail store. Perhaps they only need a platform that supports this concept. Starbucks would not be a global brand if they only had 1 café. Hi Shaan, I posted a message in your twitter account.
Just leave the pod the way it is. It's perfect.
It’s got the Lofi vibe going

that was great chemistry show, you have been always high on energy and enthusiasm but this epi is even more - full of pure joy and happiness!
Lol the opposite of all in podcast. Where they all hate each other. And themselves
This channel is pure gold.

So that IS their brand.
Uniqlo is similar, however they have definitely gotten more expensive and more fashion focused than they were 4-5 years ago...
Found you guys on youtube yesterday. I've fallen in love. Incredible content.
Watch The Rob Dyrdek episode. It's one of the best.
I actually think the quality of the pod is a feature not a bug... I can see having an in person studio that is nice for interviews but the two of you together quality is perfect imo
Having different streams of income is the best thing to do now especially with the current economic situations
When it wasn't the best strategy?
This episode was both massively valuable and effing hilarious!!
Funny to see the old backgrounds and set up when they’re talking about upgrading to the sweet setups they have now.
