I'm struggling with depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation increased recently by the rupture of a relationship of 5 years and this song is the perfect representation of me saying to myself: "I know I'm not okay, it's okay to accept help I need it... But this is not gonna be forever, someday I will be okay... Look how cute are the eyes of the dogs, enjoy the taste of this delicious food... The little things that make me happy... I'm able to be happy"

I just love how this album have three "phases", each one with it's own color and when you put them together you get the RGB system of colors which is used on TV, computer, projector... And the album is "The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" which relates totally to the cinema that also uses RGB... Just... Brilliant and perfect!

Fell out with a friend, funnily enough this was one of their favorite bands. We’re just now back in a normal atmosphere where we can talk in social groups and at work together without it being too awkward, and this song came on the night we hung out. It gave me relief, a sign of better things.

I don't know if the guys have talked about this, but the three parts of 'The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack' feel like different movies/movie genres.
Part I strikes me as these old movies, Sisters and Diane Mozart sound like those songs you'll hear when the credits roll after a light hearted rom com, while Old Soul and Save Me make me think of the story of star crossed lovers, and I'll be damned if Van Horn doesn't make me feel ready to duel someone in the old west.
Part II is has this mysterious vibe to it. Crime, mystery or action. Make Me Feel could be the opening song to this movie, it's a chill song, maybe the protagonist is driving somewhere during the sunset, and this plays in the radio while we see shots of the landscape. Slow Dance has also this happy vibe, maybe they just arrived at the party in this mansion and the song is playing, people dancing and talking and laughing. There, they meet a person, and they dance and have a good time. Then, the power goes out and something happens; someone dies, a million dollar necklace is stolen, you guys know the drill. The few people that are still in tje party are now locked up and no one will go out until the murderer/thief is caught. We are introduced to our villain, and yeah A Good Song Never Dies plays. Great, we're almost done! Maybe the protagonist and crew find the perpetrator and get them in jail. Maybe they fail, or after making some sort of agreement with the villain, no one wins, but what I know is that when this happens, The Moment starts to play. As cliché as it is, the protaginists walks towards their car and look back at the mansion, maybe with a small or with a conflicted face, thinking of whatever they lost in there, they get on their car and recreate the scene from the beginning, but now the drive at dawn, they turn up the radio and we lose them after they enter in a tunnel, the camera now focusing now in the sky. Then silence, but just as we thought the movie was done, Preach starts to play during the credits.
And now we have Part III, that is hopeful and I can just feel this one will be more of a coming of age movie. We still need more of the album to be sure, but It's All Happening is the song I can imagine listening during the ending or as the credits roll, that moment as we leave the movie theatre, dazed and convinced everything is possible.
Now, I am thankful for the quarantine because it showed me these guys and their awesome music.
