- This is a non-tested bed, mock-mounted on 4 unwin runners, utilising 2 unwin rails. Video demonstrates how the bed can quickly and easily be moved forwards/backwards, to create more space at the rear when required.
Hi,do you know anyone who could install that on a LWB Vivaro please ?
How did you decide upon the spacing of the rails? and what is the spacing?
Hi what's the length of your rails please? Great video!
Hi can I ask where you got these from. Thanks
This is exactly what i want to.do but 3 seater. Question. Why only locking one side? Wouldnt you do 4?
Yes mate, this was just mocked up the other day, because of where my rails are, the left hand side requires 2 20mm holes drilling in it to allow the locking mechanism to fit. So as soon as my 20mm drill bit arrives, it will have 4 locking points. Its actually smooth running, and very solidly mounted without the other 2 locking pins, but i'll fit them regardless.
Hi great video. Wanting this myself. Is it a job you can do yourself. I’m not skilled at all in cars vans etc. But I am an electrical engineer so I’m ok with my hands. Just wondering if it’s a job for a trained professional or can anyone have a try? Thanks in advance
Thanks for this video man
I see you have the quick release on one side only, what do you have one the other side. Thanks
This was half way through building it. It was quick release on both sides, once i finished building it.
@@aridd2883 have put them on both sides but having problems with the runners snagging. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks
You've done well installing that given the hand you're holding the camera with seems to be made of jelly
Hey where did you get locking mechanism for the rails?
search for "unwin" rails and locking mechanism
Hi there, this looks spot on. Is it possible to travel with passengers on the seat in any position on the rails?
Yes
Are these the low profile rails (cut into the floor) or the surface rails?
??
