If the case of an apartment in monthly rent, the deposit is very high compared to other things.
For example in Seoul, deposit is 100million won / monthly rent is 2million won.
I just wanted to say 아파트 is very expensive for a foreigner, young traveler for a short stay.

Thank you for the comments! 3 or 6 months are being rented in the form of Gosiwon, One Room Hotel, GosiTel, Sharehouse, Airbnb, etc. in Korea! However, these short-term leases are not introduced by licensed real estate agents like me, but most of them promote themselves and attract customers. If you search for "Goshiwon in Korea" or, "Share house in Korea", it will be easy to find!! :)

There is not a minimum period legally. But usually, they sign a two-year contract, at least a year contract.

@@RichFreedomDragon Yes, there are cases to rent house without a deposit. If you search for Gosiwon(고시원), you'll find it. Think of it as an Airbnb or something.
Even foreigners can buy real estate in Korea if have money😂
