That’s messed up. He said he couldn’t adjust the seat so he was sitting awkward and besides his head lined up with the safety guards on the seat.

Not really. It's heavier than most cars except in the rear where it needs traction. Not considering aftermarket enhanced examples like the one in the video, a factory supercharged tacoma would struggle to keep traction from a dig and be too heavy to hit 60mph in a decent time (decent time from a performance vehicle aspect). Toyota MADE good stuff. Not really anymore though. The new GR "Supra" is nothing like the mk3 or 4 supras from the 80s and 90s. It's definitely a revamped, celica-supra. The gt86 and FRS? Yeah, you can thank Subaru for that one.
I like it. I use my truck to haul my motorcycle. I got sick of riding low in a sports car. I currently drive a tundra, but it’s not manual transmission. I miss that.
Tenni Baul well they STILL make good stuff. Not from a tarmac track perspective i suppose, but a longevity, reliability approach as they always have. Do miss the real Supra’s of the past though.....
I had one and looked up some of of the other sports cars Toyota has like newly( at the time) released scion frs and this trucks 0-60 time was actually quicker and also quicker than most cars with 200+ horsepower at the time, Amazing considering the weight of the truck, I had a lot of fun with it

That seats are too much but the rest of the truck is awesome. I'm a fan of keeping my interior fresh like my b5 nogaro blue s4.

Owning a Lifted Prerunner model of this truck i have to say this thing is well built! URD is the way to go if you cant get your hands on a Toyota SC.

That's a urd or trd shortshifter. I had a stock one and could make it go sideways from a complete stop and it would always center thanks to the X frame supension, These trucks were designed for Japanese drift racing as they have an rtr that puts out over 500 rwhp

This is an amazing truck, I normally like Tacoma for its off road capabilities but this is just to awesome not to like.

I have a fully stock TRD SC installed on my 2014 Tacoma. I posted a 70-105 pass in 6th gear on my channel.

The Truck is amazing, But the angry eyelids on the headlights make it look amazing!
I never really got the point of these but I'm glad Toyota had the balls to build them. Auto manufacturers don't make anything different and cool anymore

Such a cool truck. Always loved the X-Runners since I was in highschool. I have a standard 4x4 Tacoma making about 310hp/340tq to the wheels with a Magnuson blower but it's also a heavy overlanding rig😅 Wanna get an X-Runner on the side and try a centrifugal blower.

Those seats are too much,but the rest of th truck is cool
Stock seats have the airbags and are usually pretty thrashed. Seat covers are available but expensive. For a purpose built vehicle like this, the Momo seats are a good safety idea and possibly required at some events with the restraint system.

Some TRD (Toyota racing and development) sears would be bice

How can a body roll when it's sitting on the ground lol. They have good suspension from the factory that was the whole purpose of the x runner. Gears are short because it's a 6 speed and a truck. Trucks always have shorter gears than cars so I'm confused about the short gears for a truck? Trucks pull trailers so naturally that are geared towards that plus add an extra gear.

Yes I believe so, which is probably why boost levels are low.
You upgraded your clutch?
Since this video the truck has been 2jz swapped with a cd009 but at that time no the clutch was stock
I have the 4x4 4.0 6 speed manual and have been looking at the underdog racing stuff, have you had any trouble with the supercharger setup

I wonder if the steering ratio is stock. It seems like it might be by the number of turns on the wheel you're making when cornering. Personally I like a lower steering ratio on a high performance truck, especially if I'm going to take it to the strip.
I think stock is 4 to 1 on these trucks; I have a 2013 base cab. Do you know of a replacement rack that is 3 to 1 and is a bolt in ?

Correct, Owner told me its more of a Show Truck right now. In a couple years though, he does want to make it a more dedicated track machine.
You can push this 1grfe with stock internals to 600whp and stock gear box

Hey Boss nice truck, could you please tell me what the exact size of those wheels are? I have an Xrunner and would like to run that same size and by that I mean the fitment? Cause when I look them up they offer different fitments. Thanks

And the steering wheel is 100% illegal on the street. You cannot take out an airbag and drive it on the street.
I own a 2006 X-Runner and looking to update it with a SuperCharger and all of the above. How expensive that gets..?
Orwangez Sánchez ur looking at 6 thousand for the base model supercharger from urd.
add on headers, ypipe, and thier 3" ss exhaust and i think thats another $1600.
magnuson has a roots blower as well, google it and u can find varying prices. urd makes more power, but its going to have some lag. roots has zero lag but will not make as much power in this setup.
