Choosing Keeping is one of my favorite shops in London! They have a great selection of unique pens, fountain pens, cards, and wonderful paper products and a outrageous selection of watercolors! If you go to London its a wonderful stop! But make sure you check their hours as they are closed on Mondays I think. I got a pilot pen there that I hadn’t seen in the color I purchased anywhere else. I also purchase their less expensive pens because they are vintage in style and colors and make great gifts and I use them while i am knitting

"Mohair in my lip gloss" And Jodi, I love your hair all natural. Also, I ordered some FGF to do another Zwieg by Caitlin Hunter. I will be using the Walnut as the body and the Granite as the lace section. Can not wait! Not my color wheel normally, but I have enough blue sweaters.
As a fibromyalgia suffeder I can only imagine the pain you went through to have those tatoos! The artwork would make a great template for embroidery or cross-stitch too. Can't wait to see the colours go in. Put you two o to cheer me up! It always works. 😊

I knit a lot of vintage patterns and they often say continue in pattern. I'm doing a raglan cabke atm which says the same. It takes a notebook, pen and a bit of maths to get it right. I feel the 1950s knitters were a lot more instinctive than me.
I’m one of those people who prefers to support local so I have donated $55 to Loaves and Fishes, my local food bank. I don’t know if you can use this in your competition 🙂

Sometimes the color of the yarn makes a difference in gauge. I had a knitting teacher who showed two garments she knitted turned out different sizes. Same yarn, same needles, different color totally different size ! She said it taught her to knit new gauge for different colors
I so agree that I miss the fiber festivals in the east since I live in CA. BUT, I am very much looking forward to the new Flock Fiber Festival in Seattle in August. I even talked my husband into making the 12 hour road trip with me. Can't wait to see you both there in person!!

Our school district (in US) does provide free lunches for all kids from preschool to high school. Maybe it’s a state or district thing ❤❤.
I teach in Michigan and feed my students 2 free meals each day. Students who stay for after school programs receive a third meal.
