    Hey mate,
    I'm starting up on my own after working for a window cleaning company for a while, just wanted to know your thoughts on the Gardiner twist action gooseneck. I've been using it for a few weeks and prefer it to the hose pull valve for turning on and off the water since I can keep both hands on the pole, makes it a bit easier to stop the water when working on hard to reach windows. But I do have a few problems with it too, thought it might be a good one to have a look at sometime :)

    Hi Ashley it's Shaun SB CLEAN Norfolk, I'm about to change my hose on my hose reel and was wondering what the difference between 8mm or 6mm hose apart from the size of course, What's your apinon on this

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  2 місяці тому

      6mm is lighter and easier to work with. Some guys might put a Y connector at the end so they can work with two poles from one hose, you would need 8mm hose to do this to make sure you are being fed enough water. But I wouldn’t recommend that anyway. Get 6mm hose, and have one each.👍🏼

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  3 роки тому

      Yeah, I usually just pick it up in two or three places as I walk back to the van so I end up with a couple of large loops that will wind in without any issues. Don’t drag it round and pike it up, because that’s when it can get knotted up on itself.😃👍🏼

    A power reel, reels in much tighter neater and obviously without effort
    Top Tip
    Always change your reel hose in summer months breaks it in better being softer in the heat.

  • @adambangay6122
    @adambangay6122 3 роки тому +1

    I bought one of these and found it had nowhere near enough power to pull 100 metres of micro bore in under real world conditions. Now I run it on 24 volts which gives the right power but the speed is scary until you’re familiar with it. I reckon about 45 seconds and the power will straighten out minor Kinks and pull them through the hose guides. As such it’s a great time/energy saver but you shouldn’t have to shell out a hundred quid plus extra for two 12v leisure batteries and a 24 volt charger just to get the thing to do what it was designed to do in the first place.

    • @aemackintosh
