Great videos, l know thats a rental machine, but l put a thumb grab on my machine last year, it's one of the best thing l ever bought aspecialy among timber and concrete.
yeah I would say it sure does look easer if you did had a thumb on the bucket, but their again you do will without one, for loading up logs and movering rocks, so I'll say you do good inerways.
hello. I just planing to get excavator licence which is very expensive (probably like everywhere :) in England about £2500. I only wondering because i am not very strong and quiet often during winter month i am ill flu and all that jazz if cabin is warm enough. Then second question how to get experience. everywhere they asking for excavator operator with experience... Any advice how to start ,,,? Thanks Mikolai
I've spent 16 hours in that same mini-ex, and it takes some getting used to how the electric valve controls the flow. After a few hours I was a lot smoother. Sure didn't do the rental any favors getting me dialed in though. :D
You do some neat jobs and they look so much different when you get done!!!! Great work!!! You want to see rock check out my channel excavating320 ill show you rock we had a rock hole from hell!!!! Great video keep em up!!!
I want to tell you that I love your videos, I watch everyone of them, but I just wish you would post more. Keep up the good work.

AWESOME video, love how you show the whole project.
that's good in a way that you've got that much free rock available though. makes it nice to be able to use all of em to line you swale.

Do you always rent a 30,000 lb machine from Milton Cat? I typically use T-Quip for the jobs that I need one for less than a week
Typically yes, but not always. Depends if Milton has one available. My Milton dealer is 5 min from my shop so its very convenient.
Nice job sir!!!
Thanks!
I am looking at buying a cat 312 do they have a lot of power than it looks in size? Anything equivalent to a 315 or 316
Get more outside shots
At 1:28 very good skills
Those are some pretty big teeth on that bucket
Whats that leaver for in between the foot peddles and screen?
This machine is set up with a Trimble GCS Flex system. That pole you see holds the screen when you are using the system
Is it more expensive to rent with a thumb or do you prefer no thumb?
Nick Adams he said in the video they didn’t have any excavators with a thumb to rent
Everybody says the John Deere has been repoed. Is that true?
Who is saying that? Ive had it working on a road project of mine for the last few months. No its not true
u seem young, when did u start hr company
It's an off company of his dads large landscape business.

You selling the logs for lumber?
Firewood. All the logs were hardwood
I respect cat and everything but it seems like Cat excavators are very touchy and they shake around a lot . I don't see it in Doosans or Volvos
Renzo Puopolo maybe Dirt Ninja try's to rush? I've seen cat diggers in action quite a bit & they seem very smooth
