I could watch this type of stuff all day long. Its very hypnotizing. Nice Vid. Thanks
One of the best excavator operators I’ve seen. Precision, no wasted motion. Pluck, turn, drop, move, repeat.
Agreed! He's quick but not sloppy, most guys I know are either slow or sloppy as hell when they try doing it fast
gorgeous work (and beautiful machine too!) awesome how effortlessly it rips the stumps out sure beats a stumpgrinder
Very impressed with the speed and power of this little mechine
I have a little JD 35D that I use for projects around the house. Your videos have taught me a LOT!
Pure pleasure. Small, shallow and no tap roots. Easy money! I prefer to yank the whole tree out at one time. That saves on half the work and uses levearge on the root ball.
The Dirt Ninja was awesome! (this is video of my property)...Very happy with the work, the attitude, the professionalism, the price, EVERYTHING. Glad you enjoyed the cookout!
DEANNA DENIS Thanks for the work and being a great customer!
DEANNA DENIS Very cool, always fun to meet some one from the youtube world. They look like a great operation.
DEANNA DENIS &
Smooth operator... Thanks for posting.... Gordon
This guy is as smooth and efficient as it gets.
Great job. I will be looking at more of your videos.
grapple bucket on that skid steer would be crucial here. I could watch this all day lol. could really use one for a week at my house
these are great machine. We picked up an 08 305c cr. Very happy with it.
Pretty smooth operator
I have been operating for 30 plus years... so i must say your are good.
watching your videos is helping me make up my mind when i go to Milton Cat , i will need at least the 305 machine , but i will also look at the 308 size as well , thanks a bunch love your videos .
Thanks for watching! What Milton location do you deal with?
the Main dealership in Milford Mass.
I'm looking at buying a 305.5 glad I watched this video really looks strong
I own a 305.5, I attempted to rent a 325 for clearing my lot for a house in northern nh. I couldn’t find anyone to insure me for the rental so I made the 305.5 work. And it really was amazing what I was able to do. Some rocks the size of a smart car I was able to move and roll away. It will do 99% what a big one will do. Just might take longer
Man, if I ever get to operate a machine like that, I hope I am as half as good as you ! It's like it's your very arm and hand. Amazing !
Good operated ,makeing it look easy.
can't wait for the review of the new machines!
Andy Carlson Review on the 289 will be out this week!
Got to try out a 305.5ECR today at an auction, didn't seem like a bad machine
hey dirt ninja i love skid steers and compact excavators
now that is skill compared to some of the others I have seen smooth and no wasted movements
Man, you are good with that machine. With my rookie technique I would use 20x the time.
Looks like a fast smooth little cat that one.
Nice work, that grabbing tool is very handy !!
Metsa Man its called a thumb and they are amazing for a clearing job
Yes, I see that is really is.. !!
Great vid mate
Love the stumping videos. Did you give him a UA-cam discount? LOL
Brush grapple sure would have came in handy
smoother than butter!
Loved it😍
Looks fun!
Good Operator and nice Video !!
Daniel Konopka Thanks!
Pine Trees - Nice shallow roots, and a 5ton machine seems more than adequate. I use my 5ton machine to dig out hardwood gumtrees in Queensland. I can guarantee you the effort is substantially more. They have a giant tap root that branches out 5-8 different ways, each about 8 inches diameter. They're like pulling wisdom teeth out.
I Love it God bless you ..
I hired a 1.8T machine today.. it was a proper flogged machine, i reckon ut was due for the scrap heap. this machine makes it look easy
Really neat.
Wish I could get a mini for myself there so fun.
Dirt Ninja is a thing at Construction Careers Day in Wallingford CT
did you have a window open in this dig? it is louder than the e45 was.
Sehr schön!
Hoping a 305.5 will be my next machine! Too bad you don’t still make videos!!
Did you keep or or still use the ripper you had on the e50?
This must have been a contract job.. very efficient.
Just ran the 305.5 for first time...much better (surprisingly) than the 305.!
How long did this job take you in real time?
How does the 305 compare to the E50 ?? Just bought a 2016 E50 like it a lot but prob should have checked out the 305
HEy - love your vids. I have a Bobcat 334 and am looking at CAT equipment. How has your experience been with the CAT mini?
Good machine.
Did you drop using the ripper for removing stumps?
Have you not got a grab for the skidsteer?
Out of curiosity, what controls do you use in the 305?
Cool video btw
Good video like it so much
Do you price a job like that by the stump plus estimated time to level it when figruing cost? Just curious how thats done.
Just curious - about how much would you charge to do a job like this? I'm looking at purchasing some land and would have about 1 acre to clear for a homesite. I plan on taking down all the trees, but would want someone to come in and pull the stumps and take them away. I have no idea what someone like yourself would charge though.
that looks like fun nice small stumps , did you let him try out the new cat s?
hey dirt ninja how much did it cost to buy that 305.5e2
who is driving the compact Track Loader
Would love to see a review vid of both machines. Have you had a chance to use the accugrade and what do you think of it?
Sam Cookson Review on the 289 is coming within the week and yes the trimble system is amazing on the 305.5
Does the job ever get stressful?
Is Caterpillar better than john deer 50g in your opinion?
WHy not use a mulcher to do this job?
We shipped our old Sawmill to a UA-cam Subscriber in South Korea a couple years ago .
Good work. I would hire you if I could.
Any idea how large of a tree this machine is safe to remove?
I am upgrafing from my 430 which has been great, and am in the market for either an E50 or a 305.5 (dealers are both very close). You obviously like the Cat better, but why exactly? Thanks for any feedback
Much more room in the cab. Such smoother to operate. Good power and speed and much better built in my opinion.
Guy in the skidsteer is a pylon.
🧡
How do you remove the bucket
Could you dig out much bigger stumps with that machine?
Yes he can it will take a little time.
Thumb seems slower than the Bobcat? Is it just the camera or is the Cat noisier in the cab? Seems like a nice machine
Robert Urban I think its the same speed. Havent really noticed it being slower. Its about the same noise in the cab maybe a little nosier. The camera always makes it sound louder than it is. The microphone always picks up weird noises.
What kind of stumps are these? Root system looks to be pine?
Chris Doeg It was mostly small pines and small birch. Its my property. didn't have much of a yard so we had him come in after I had cut all the trees down to rip up and level out.
When are you going to do the walk-arounds
cat320dful The review on the 289 will be up this week!
Very nice mate wish I had an excavator when I had to dig out some small stumps been the apprentice landscaper you get the shit jobs lol I have been watching all you vids that you put up and look forward to seeing more
RedlandsGarbageFan Thanks for watching!
+Dirt Ninja the stump fell apart when you picked it up
I have a Volvo ECR48C (11,000LBS) so similar in size, also have an A300, is this a one day job or two? Thanks that info would help with pricing my next stump job.
PA Winter Services I completed this job in 6hrs with the 2 machines going the entire time. I also moved about 400 yards of fill from the area I stumped.
Hows that thumb working for you? Seems to be an interesting shape
rude252 Yea its different. I havent noticed any real down sides of it yet.
They only thing I could see would be if a tree branch or roots gets hung up on the horizontal bar. But that would only happen once in a blue moon I think.
rude252 My old one had a horizontal bar. This one is just more strait and the tip doesn't have a curve.
Same process for a lilac bush?
Jim's videos Yes. A lilac will come out much easier than these stumps too
How do you price out a job like this?
Your wasting all the topsoil ?????
wondering which you prefer - Cat 305.5e2 or Bobcat e50
gail b 305.5e2 for sure. Very nice, smooth comfortable machine.
Thanks for that useful info....
gail b Sarcasm? I can give you any other info you want if you would like it. Best way to talk is through my Facebook page. Link is in the description.
A fan?? ... prolly just a viewer.
So is this gonna get to be on a another youtube channel then? :) Dirt ninja on my backyard?
thequattro20v haha, I dont think so
is this cat 305 better then bobcat E50?
+christoffer1973 Yes it is better. I would take this machine over the E50 any day.
I really want to buy an excavator, then I realize I am only 14 with no income. ;-;
I got a creek with a ton of erosion.
Taylor W In my state, you need a driver license to even apply for the test, so you still have time to save up for it.
Get yourself a job, and start saving.
I bought my first used excavator for under $2000.00, a few years back (before that all I ever operated was backhoes) it was a piece of junk with a ton of hours on it, but it was a lot of fun, and did a lot of work for me.
Experience on a machine is going to be key in finding a job, and no one will give you seat time unless you have experience. (You can see the problem.) :-)
My grandson is 10 now, and hes got quite a few hours on our machines, and by the time hes old enough to make the decision, he will have enough experience to at least get an interview.
Long story short, see if you can get some part time work with a company that has small excavators, even if its just one day a week washing them. If you can weasel your way into getting some one to teach you how to operate one, thats half the battle.
***** Thanks for the info.
Get it it will make you $$$$$ If you use it a lot
Rent one silly.

Great video!!! Wasn't your old UA-cam name bobcat ninja? What made you switch to a different brand? I hope you gave your fan your autograph. Lol.
I think he switched to cat cuz he liked them better then bobcat
and yea it was bobcat Ninja but had to change it for copyright or somthin idk
Drew Willmann I see. Cat does make some great stuff. Hopefully its not for copyright infringement or something like that. Its probably because he switched companies.
I think he did it before he got cat machines
Drew Willmann Ohh ok.
Love2boat92 Yes it was. I switched the name because I wanted my own brand. I have a video on my channel explaining why I did it. Search through my videos. I think Cat makes better machines so that is why we switched. Not impressed with the newer Bobcat equipment.
Walk around!!!
machinery master Coming this week on the 289!
Is there any way that I could do something like this myself without having any experience with heavy machinery like you have?
You're taking away half of the dirt.
happy new year 2018. wish we all succeed
Let's put it in the dump
I have a a Q: have you ever met letsdig18??
Alexander Blix Yes he has.
ok nice :)
Construction porn.
What kind of stumps are these? Root system looks to be pine?
yea he said pine in the vid
