Not sure if you remember the TV channel eurosport that was only tv channel my parents had that showed football so I grew up watching a lot of ajax, Porto ect matches as they showed mostly European football matches lool loved Porto

As a portuguese, I think portuguese league is very underrated, I think a lot of people only care about The Top 5 leagues (English, spanish, italian, german and french league) and sometimes the Turkish or Deutch leagues, but the best teams from Portugal can have great results against Top 5 leagues clubs (Sporting 2-0 Tottenham and Benfica 1-1 PSG twice)

Even though Porto lost it was like they won cuz they played most of the match with 10 players and still outplayed Benfica...and when it was 11 against 11 it was Porto's total dominance...that shows the difference between the two teams
Porto played at home thats normal, pressure always present, but i did watch highlights and did not seen so many clear chances to porto, just 1 nice save from benfica GK at the start 1st half. I saw a lot of defensive mistakes from benfica...

Benfica fan from Porto here! I love this city and its people, everyone is so genuinely friendly. But when it comes to the "o classico", as a benfica fan YOU KNOW you CANT wear anything from your team and be amongst Porto fans - they will insult you and possibly even hurt you. This happened to a relative on mine and he had to get stiches near his eye. I've been to the Benfica stadium many times and never seen this happen in my lifetime. I was there 2 weeks ago and my dad even went over to the opposite team's fans and offered them a drink and said "this is family, you know that, right?". Too bad that I live so close to Porto's stadium but can't see my team play here, I'm too scared. Football shouldn't be like that.
Benfica fans are the same in Lisbon or even worse. Every team has good fans and bad fans, that's it. Last year Porto was champion on Estádio da Luz and a lot of Porto fans that where scattered through the stadium had to get out or have nothing Porto related on. It's the same everyehere and SLB are not different. Also, Porto Will be Champions this year 😊
