- Solo Hulk movie announcement, World War Hulk update and the Hulks future in the MCU. Marvel Studios has plans for Mark Ruffalo and Bruce Banner / The Hulk to be a big part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie forward as a major character. No only will the Hulk get his solo film but will also appear in other team up films like Captain America 4 Brave New World and Avengers Kang Dynasty.

I get why they didn’t recast T’Challa, but I believe Chadwick was the type of person who wouldn’t have wanted his passing stop an influential character from being brought to life. Also he’s one of the most important characters in the secret wars run

He definitely wouldve wanted Tchalla to be recasted. He has many interviews talking about how no actor should own 1 role. Wakanda Forever should’ve taken place during the 5 year blip. Then recast Tchalla by Kang Dynasty
They’ll do it in time, just not in the short term. Anybody who they casted, would be living in his shadow, and no telling how fans would take it. Just give it time.

I am indeed excited for a new solo Hulk movie. That sounds like a great idea! I’m curious about the story as well. There are lots of good Hulk villains who can still be adapted for future stories. Yes bring the Savage Hulk back! This is one of my favorite marvel ideas right now. Cutting the new Daredevil season in half is also fine as catching up with all 18 episodes at once could be tricky.

@TheCosmicWonder it is very much needed to see Banner’s other iterations of Hulk within him such as Gray Hulk aka Mr. Joe Fixit, Merged Hulk from The Incredible Hulk issue 377, Devil Hulk, Devil Hulk, and Maestro. Having these other personas with Banner emerge provides depth to the character and creates the opportunity for Marvel/Disney to throughly tell the story of how Banner became the Hulk in his childhood due to the abuse he endured from his father Brian Banner.
To much to explain without a trilogy. And at this point we just need the classic hulk back. All that "exploring" is what led to this ridiculous hulk we have now. I don't think even if he goes savage, it wouldn't be impressive after all the softness

They should be building around Simu Liu's Shang-Chi too as a pillar of the next Avengers. That dude is blowing up all over the movies now and Shang-Chi was really good. The fans and Mark deserves it!!
I would MUCH rather see an Immortal Hulk adaptation, with maybe a fight with the Avengers at the third act to still have it be a sort of impactful event. It'd just be really cool to see that interpretation of the Hulk and his alters and maybe even explore Bruce's traumatic past.

How about a "Mr. Fix-it" movie? During the blip years Banner tries and believes he heals his arm. Instead Joe Fix-it is born. The grey Hulk, at night, in a suit. Have him fight the Leader. (To close the loop) In order to win, he must meld Banner, Green Hulk and grey Hulk into the Hulk he is now. It writes itself! WE NEED A "MR. FIX-IT" MOVIE

This is about to get epic!!
Remember, Sakaar's time is way different than Earth's (or many other places). Hulk could have been there for more than a decade before Thor showed up. That's a huge gap in the story, including Skaar's birth and adolescence. World War Hulk could have happened, and no one knew anything about it including Banner. It would explain how he became the leading champion there. It could also explain how Grandmaster took over. Everything could fit into the past, and not screw up anything the MCU did since.
So ready for a hulk movie

I really do hope we get World War Hulk in the MCU very soon before Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. For Captain America: Brave New World, the team Sam is assembling still should be himself, Hulk, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Wasp, She-Hulk, Shang-Chi, Spider-Man, Daredevil, War Machine, Shuri, and Kate Bishop and Skarr. And I think at the end credits, the Leader escapes and he starts to make a Hulk army, which should definitely set up World War Hulk. Can't wait for this!!
I think they should do it after they introduce then X men , Fantastic Four, and some other characters.
